We sent against them a howling wind in a day of enduring calamity,
We unleashed a howling wind against them on a day of unremitting horror.
We sent upon them a violent wind, on a day of continuous misery.
Behold, We sent raging winds upon them on a day of relentless misery. (69:6-8).
We sent against them a howling wind in a day of enduring calamity,
We sent upon them a violent wind, on a day of continuous misery.
We sent upon them a violent wind, on a day of continuous misery.
We sent upon them violent winds, on a day of continuous misery.
We let loose against them a violent roaring wind on a day of ill omen, continuous,
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,
Behold, We let loose upon them a raging storm wind on a day of bitter misfortune:
Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity,
We sent a tumultuous wind against them on a day of unremitting misfortune,*
We drove against them, on an unlucky and a miserable day, a fierce cold wind swallowing the ground with fierceness and rage, vehement and merciless, roaring for punishing crime,
Then one day I sent them a strong storm; a nasty storm that brought them nothing but misery.
Verily, We sent against them a furious wind of harsh voice on a day of evil omen and continuous calamity.
For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster,
Indeed, We sent against them a furious wind, on a day of unrelenting misery,
We did send to them a furious wind in a day of continuous misfortune,
We released a howling wind against them on a day of terrible disaster;
We loosed against them a wind clamorous in a day of ill fortune continuous,
Verily, we sent on them a cold storm wind on a day of continuous ill-luck!
Surely We sent on them a tornado in a day of violent disaster,
Surely We sent against them a most clamorous wind in a day of ill-luck, continuous,
Verily We sent against them a roaring wind, on a day of continued ill-luck:
Verily, We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent disaster,
We let loose upon them a clamorous and alarmingly furious wind on a day (when) the sky remained red like copper till long.
Indeed We unleashed upon them an icy gale on an incessantly ill-fated day,
