Those who in a flood of ignorance are heedless!
those who flounder in a glut of ignorance,
Who are in mischief, unaware.
They know not that they know not.
Those who in a flood of ignorance are heedless!

In their blundering, they are totally heedless.
Who are lost in deception.
Who are within a flood and heedless.
they who blunder along, in ignorance lost –
Who are careless in an abyss!
who are steeped in ignorance and heedlessness.*
Who are sunk in pleasure with brains swimming with the thought of disbelief, immersed in strong delusion that they should believe a lie and disbelieve the truth.
Who are deeply ignorant and careless about their religion.
Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter),
Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion:
those who are ˹steeped˺ in ignorance, totally heedless.
- those who are drowned in ignorance, forgetful!
those steeped in error and unaware!
who are dazed in perplexity
who are heedless in a flood (of ignorance).
Who flounder heedless in an abyss (of ignorance and confusion).
They who are unmindful and in perplexity (about the Hereafter),
who wade in deep waters of ignorance, neglecting their salvation.
Those who (are) carelessly (blundering) in a state of confusion (about the Faith of Islam):
Who are in the depths of obstinacy and confusion (due to false-beliefs) and give no heed (to the truth).
who are heedless in a stupor!
