And when mankind is gathered, they will be enemies to them and be deniers of their service.

When all human beings will be gathered together those who had been called upon will become the enemies to their votaries and will disown their worship.*
and when mankind are thronged before Allah for judgment, they shall see those whom they invoked here are at enmity with them Hereafter, they shall contemptuously refuse to acknowledge their supplication.
On the Day of Judgment, the same idols that were being worshipped will turn to be the enemies of their worshippers and testify against them in the court of Almighty!

And when ˹such˺ people will be gathered together, those ˹gods˺ will be their enemies and will disown their worship.
and when people will be assembled (on the Day of Judgment), they will be enemies to them, and will refuse even their having worshipped them.
those who, when all mankind is gathered, will become his enemies and disown his worship?
