And We had subjected the people of Pharaoh before them to means of denial, and there came to them a noble messenger:

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَٓاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَر۪يمٌۙ
