“And Joseph brought you the clear signs before, but you ceased not to be in doubt about what he brought. When he had perished, you said: ‘Never will God raise up after him a messenger.’ Thus does God lead astray him who is a committer of excess and a baseless sceptic:

Yusuf brought you the Clear Signs before, but you never stopped doubting what he brought to you to the extent that when he died, you said, "Allah will never send another Messenger after him. " That is how Allah misguides those who are unbridled and full of doubt.’
"And Joseph had come to you before with proofs, but you remained in doubt regarding what he came to you with, until when he died, you said: "God will not send any messenger after him. " It is such that God sends astray he who is a transgressor, doubter."
And it was to you that Joseph had come with all evidence of the Truth. But, you incessantly cast suspicion on what he had brought. And when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a Messenger after him (among you, the Israelites). Thus Allah's Law lets go astray a waster of 'Self' - doubter, given to suspicion.

Joseph had come to you before that with clear revelations, but you continued to doubt his message. Then, when he died you said, "GOD will not send any other messenger after him. (He was the last messenger)!" GOD thus sends astray those who are transgressors, doubtful.
Joseph had indeed come to you before with clear proofs, but you did not cease to doubt what he had brought until he died, when you said: 'God will not send a prophet after him. ' That is how God leads the waster, the sceptic astray.
And Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him. ' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic."
"And it was to you that Joseph came aforetime with all evidence of the truth; but you never ceased to throw doubt on all that he brought you - so much so that when he died, you said, ‘Never will God send any apostle after him!’ “In this way God lets go astray such as waste their own selves by throwing suspicion –
And verily Joseph brought you of old clear proofs, yet ye ceased not to be in doubt concerning what he brought you till, when he died, ye said: Allah will not send any messenger after him. Thus Allah deceiveth him who is a prodigal, a doubter.
Verily Joseph came to you with Clear Signs before, yet you continued to doubt his Message. Thereafter when he died, you said: 'Allah shall send no Messenger after him.'"* Thus Allah leads astray those who transgress the limits and are given to much doubting;
"And before Mussa, came Yusuf (Joseph) who was sent to you with clear evidence of Allah's Omnipotence and Authority, but you remained in a state of uncertainty as to the truth and reality of what he presented to you. And when he died you claimed that never shall Allah send after him another Messenger; thus does Allah neglect him who is extravagant in his account of himself, who is doubtful of the truth and He leaves him to wander from His path of righteousness."
"Remember that, before Moses, God sent Joseph with clear proofs of his prophet hood but you still doubted; and when he died you said: “God will never send another Prophet after him" . God indeed let the doubters slip into the darkness.”
And indeed Yûsuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: "No Messenger will Allâh send after him." Thus Allâh leaves astray him who is a Musrif (a polytheist, an oppressor, a criminal, sinner who commit great sins) and a Murtâb (one who doubts Allâh’s Warning and His Oneness).
"And to you there came Joseph in times gone by, with Clear Signs, but ye ceased not to doubt of the (Mission) for which he had come: At length, when he died, ye said: 'No messenger will Allah send after him.' thus doth Allah leave to stray such as transgress and live in doubt,-
Joseph already came to you earlier with clear proofs, yet you never ceased to doubt what he came to you with. When he died you said, ‘Allah will never send a messenger after him.’ This is how Allah leaves every transgressor and doubter to stray—
And Yūsuf had already come to you earlier with clear signs, but you remained in suspicion about what he brought to you - until when he died, you said, ‘Allah will never send a messenger after him.’ That is how Allah lets go astray anyone who crosses limits and lives in doubt, -
Joseph came to you before with clear signs, but you never ceased to doubt the message he brought you. When he died, you said, "God will not send another messenger."’ In this way God leaves the doubting rebels to stray-
Joseph brought you the clear signs before, yet you continued in doubt concerning that he brought you until, when he perished, you said, "God will never send forth a Messenger after him. " Even, so God leads astray the prodigal and the doubter.'
'And Joseph came to you before with manifest signs, but ye ceased not to doubt concerning what he brought you, until, when he perished, ye said, "God will not send after him an apostle;" thus does God lead astray him who is extravagant, a doubter.
And verily Joseph came to you before with clear arguments, yet you ceased not to be in doubt as to what he brought; until when he died, you said, 'Allah will never raise a messenger after him. ' Thus does Allah cause him to err who is extravagant, a doubter,
And indeed Yûsuf (Joseph) already came to you earlier with the supreme evidence (s), yet in no way did you cease being in doubt concerning what he came to you with, until, when he perished, you said, Allah will never send forth (any) Messenger even after him. " Thus Allah leads into error him who is extravagant and (always) suspicious."
Joseph came unto you, before Moses, with evident signs; but ye ceased not to doubt of the religion which he preached unto you, until, when he died, ye said, God will by no means send another apostle, after him. Thus doth God cause him to err, who is a transgressor, and a sceptic.
"And indeed, Yusuf (Joseph) came to you in earlier times, with Clear Signs, but you did not stop doubting about the (purpose) for which he had come: In the end, when he died, you said: ‘No messenger will Allah send after him. ’ Thus does Allah leave (them) to be lost as those who act in sin and live in doubt—
`And Joseph did come to you before (this) with clear proofs but you continued to be in doubt about that which he brought to you, till when he died, you said, "Allâh will never raise a Messenger after him". That is how Allâh forsakes and adjudges him as having gone astray who is a transgressor and doubter.
Certainly Joseph brought you manifest proofs earlier, but you continued to remain in doubt concerning what he had brought you. When he died, you said, ‘‘Allah will never send any apostle after him.’’ That is how Allah leads astray those who are profligate, skeptical.
