And those before them denied; and they attained not a tenth of what We gave them but they denied My messengers — then how was My rejection!

Those before them also denied the truth but these people do not have even a tenth of what We gave to them. They denied My Messengers. And how complete was My denial!
And those before them had also denied, while they did not reach one tenth of what We have given to this generation, so they denied My messengers, how severe was My retribution!
Thus too, nations before them had rejected the Message. These people have not received a tenth of the power and wealth that We had bestowed upon them. Yet, when they denied My Messengers, (see) how awesome was My rejection!
And those before them denied; and they attained not a tenth of what We gave them but they denied My messengers — then how was My rejection!
And those before them had also denied, while they did not reach one tenth of what We had given them, but they denied My messengers; so how was My retribution?

Those before them disbelieved, and even though they did not see one-tenth of (the miracle) we have given to this generation, when they disbelieved My messengers, how severe was My retribution!,
Those before them had also denied, and they could not reach a tenth of (the possibilities) We had given them, and still they called My apostles liars. How great was the change that I wrought in their condition then!
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how was My reproach.
Thus, too, gave the lie to the truth those who lived before them; and although those had not attained to even a tenth of which We have vouchsafed unto these , yet when they gave the lie to My apostles, how awesome was My rejection!
Those before them denied, and these have not attained a tithe of that which We bestowed on them (of old); yet they denied My messengers. How intense then was My abhorrence (of them)!
Those who went before them also denounced (Allah's Messengers) as liars. They have not attained even a tenth of what We had given them. But when they rejected My Messengers, calling them liars, how terrible was My chastisement!*
Similarly acted those who preceded them, they denied Our divine message and they rejected the truth, notwithstanding Allah's grace abounding in them. Affluence inflated them with pride whereas these people have not attained one tenth of what those of old attained: affluence in knowledge, wealth, power and the art of construction. Puffed up, they accused Our Messengers of falsehoods and how evil was the end for which they were destined.
The previous disbelievers, who treated My Prophets as liars, were severely punished even though they did not receive even one tenth of the proofs shown to these disbelievers.
And those before them belied; these have not received even a tenth of what We had granted to those (of old); yet they belied My Messengers. Then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!
And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
Those ˹destroyed˺ before them denied as well—and these ˹Meccans˺ have not attained even one-tenth of what We had given their predecessors. Yet ˹when˺ they denied My messengers, how severe was My response!
And those before them had rejected (the prophets), while these (infidels of Makkah) have not reached even one tenth of what We gave to those (before them). So, they rejected my Messengers. Then (imagine) how was My censure!
Those who lived before them also denied the truth- these people have not attained even a tenth of what We gave their predecessors- they, too, rejected My messengers, and how terrible My condemnation was!
Those that were before them also cried lies, yet they reached not a tenth of what We gave them; they cried lies to My Messengers, and how was My horror!
Those before them said it was a lie, and these have not reached a tithe of what we had given them. And they said my apostles were liars, and how great a change was then!
And We have not given them (Arabs) any Books (Scripture) which they read, nor did We send to them before you a Warner.
And (the ones) before them cried lies, and in no way did they reach a tenth of what We brought them. So they cried lies to My Messengers. Then how was My disclaiming!
They who were before them in like manner accused their prophets of imposture: But these have not arrived unto the tenth part of the riches and strength which we had bestowed on the former: And they accused my apostles of imposture; and how severe was my vengeance!
And their earlier generations rejected (the Truth): These have not received a tenth (of the Guidance) of what We had granted to those: Yet when they rejected My messengers how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
Their predecessors had also cried lies (to the Prophets of their time). And these (Makkans) have not attained (even) a tenth of that (resources of wealth and strength) which We had given their predecessors, yet they cried lies to My Messages so (let these see) how (terrible) was the change I brought about and how (tremendous) was (the result of) My disapproval.
Those who were before them denied , and these have not received one-tenth of what We had given them. But they denied My apostles, so how was My rebuttal!
