Those who responded to God and the Messenger after injury had befallen them — for those of them as do good and are in prudent fear is a great reward —

Those who did good and had taqwa among those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after the wound had been inflicted will have an immense reward:
Those who have answered God and the messenger after they were afflicted with wounds. For those of them who did good and were righteous is a great reward.
Those who respond to Allah and the Messenger even after being wounded or harmed in the battle, such of them have truly worked collective good and walked aright. Theirs is an outstanding reward. Responding to the call from Allah and His Messenger gives humans the real life (8:24).

who responded to the call of God and the Apostle after misfortune had befallen them. A magnificent requital awaits those of them who have persevered in doing good and remained conscious of God:
As for those who heard the call of Allah and His messenger after the harm befell them (in the fight); for such of them as do right and ward off (evil), there is great reward.
There were those who responded to the call of Allah and the Messenger* after injury had smitten them* - for all those who do good and fear Allah there is a mighty reward.
Who responded favourably to Allah and to His Prophet and resumed fighting after they had stopped having been wedded to the calamity. It was those who excelled at the battle and entertained the profound reverence dutiful to Allah; they shall be requited with what is generously commensurate with their deeds.
As to those who responded to the call of God and His Prophet and showed courage, in spite of their wounds and continue to be righteous and respect their Lord, there is a great reward for them in reserve.
