He said: “O eminent ones: which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me submitting?”
He said, ‘Council! who among you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?’
He said: "O commanders, which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering"
(When Solomon found out that the Queen was coming), he said, "O Chiefs! Which one of you can present the best plan to get her throne before they come to me surrendering?" (1500 miles between Ma'arib, the capital of Sheba to Jerusalem. )
He said: “O eminent ones: which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me submitting?”
He said: "O commanders, which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
He said, "O commanders, which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me peacefully surrendering?"
He said, "O you elders, which of you can bring me her mansion, before they arrive here as submitters?"
He (then) said (to his courtiers): "O you nobles, is there any one who can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
said, "O assembly , which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
he said : "O you nobles! Which of you can bring me her throne ere she and her followers come unto me in willing surrender to God?"
He said: O chiefs! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come unto me, surrendering?
Solomon said:* "My nobles, which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"*
Then he said to the leaders of his assemblage -of the men and the Jinn-: "Who among you can fetch me her throne before they come to me with low submissive reverence for Allah!"
Solomon then turned to his court’s people and asked: "Who can bring her throne to me so that they come to me in submission?"
He said: "O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering themselves in obedience?"
He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
Solomon asked, "O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in ˹full˺ submission?"
He said, "O chieftains, which one of you will bring her throne to me before they come to me submissively?"
Then he said, ‘Counsellors, which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?’
He said, 'O Council, which one of you will bring me her throne, before they come to me in surrender?'
Said he, 'O ye chiefs! which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me resigned?'
"Return unto them, for we will surely come to them with hosts which they cannot resist; and we will surely drive them out thence with shame and they will be humbled. "
He said, "O you chiefs, whichever one of you will come up to me with (i. e., bring) her throne before they come up to me as Muslims?" (Or: in surrender).
And Solomon said, O nobles, which of you will bring unto me her throne, before they come and surrender themselves unto me?
He said (to his own army): "You chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering as Muslims, in submission?
(Later on addressing his courtiers Solomon) said, `Nobles! which one of you will bring me a throne befitting her (- the Queen) before they come to me surrendering in submission. '
He said, ‘O elite! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?’
