And who say: “Our Lord: give Thou to us from our wives and our progeny a comfort of the eyes, and make Thou us a model for those of prudent fear,”
those who say, ‘Our Lord, give us joy in our wives and children and make us a good example for those who have taqwa’;
And those who Say: "Our Lord, grant us from our mates and our progeny what will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us role models the righteous. "
- And who say, "Our Lord! Grant us that our spouses and children be a joy to our eyes (that they excel in character). And make us the foremost among those who walk aright."
And who say: “Our Lord: give Thou to us from our wives and our progeny a comfort of the eyes, and make Thou us a model for those of prudent fear,”
Andthose who say: "Our Lord, grant us from our mates and our progeny what will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous."
Those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from our mates and our progeny what will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us role models for the righteous."
And they say, "Our Lord, let our spouses and children be a source of joy for us, and keep us in the forefront of the righteous."
And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path. "
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous. "
and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!"
And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil).
who are prone to pray: "Our Lord! Grant us that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes,* and do make us the leaders of the God-fearing."*
h) The worshippers Who invoke Allah to give them wives and progeny who make their eyes speak content and to this effect they pray thus: "we pray and beseech You O Allah, our Creator, to grace us with wives and progeny whom we view with concord and content, and make of us models or exemplars of righteousness inducing imitation by those who lift to You their inward sight.
They are the ones who pray, "Our Lord, let our spouses and children (do good deeds and thus) be a source of joy for us. Please keep us in the forefront of the righteous."
And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the Muttaqûn(the pious. See V.2:2)."
And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous."
˹They are˺ those who pray, "Our Lord! Bless us with ˹pious˺ spouses and offspring who will be the joy of our hearts, and make us models for the righteous."
- and those who say, "Our Lord, Give us, from our spouses and our children, comfort of eyes, and make us heads of the God-fearing."
those who pray, ‘Our Lord, give us joy in our spouses and offspring. Make us good examples to those who are aware of You’.
who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing. '
and those who say, 'Our Lord! grant us from our wives and seed that which may cheer our eyes, and make us models to the pious!'
And those who when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat;
And who say, "Our Lord, bestow upon us from our spouses and offsprings comfort of the eyes, (Literally: the coolness (when)the eyes settle down) and make us an Éîmam (Leader) of the pious. "
And who say, O Lord, grant us of our wives and our offspring such as may be the satisfaction of our eyes; and make us patterns unto those who fear thee.
And those who pray, "Our Lord! Give to us wives and children who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous. "
And who (in their prayers) say, `Grant that our wives and our children be (a source of) comfort for (our) eyes and make us a model for those who guard against evil. '
And those who say, ‘Our Lord! Grant us comfort in our spouses and descendants, and make us imams of the Godwary. ’
