And most men — though thou be desirous — are not believers.
But most people, for all your eagerness, are not muminun.
And most of the people, even if you are diligent, will not believe.
(Although you narrated the accurate account of Joseph as they demanded), most of these people will not believe even as you compassionately so desire.
And most men — though thou be desirous — are not believers.
And most of the people, even if you are diligent, will not believe.
Most people will not acknowledge, even if you wish eagerly.
Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe.
Many men will not believe howsoever you wish,
And most of the people, although you strive , are not believers.
Yet - however strongly thou mayest desire it -most people will not believe ,
And though thou try much, most men will not believe.
And most of the people, howsoever you might so desire, are not going to believe.
Nor are most people moved by the convincing divine signs and marvels, expositions and illustrations to exercise spiritual apprehension of divine truths nor do they justify faith as a conviction operative on their character and will, even though you Muhammad are full of keen desire to guide them into all truth.
What a shame that most people, no matter what you do, will choose not to believe.
And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly.
Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently thou dost desire it.
And most people will not believe—no matter how keen you are—
Most of the people are not going to believe despite your strong desire for it.
However eagerly you may want them to, most men will not believe.
Yet, be thou ever so eager, the most part of men believe not.
And yet most men, though thou shouldst be urgent, will not believe.
That is one of the stories of the unseen that We inspire in you (Muhammad). You were not with them when they agreed in their affair when they were scheming.
And, though you be (so) eager, in no way are most of mankind believers.
But the greater part of men, although thou earnestly desire it, will not believe.
Still the larger part of mankind will not have any Faith: However much you may like it (for them).
And many people, even though you ardently desire (it), will not at all believe.
Yet most people will not have faith, however eager you should be.
