Said he: “What was the case of you women when you sought to lure Joseph away from his soul?” They said: “God forbid! We know no evil against him.” Said the wife of the Governor: “Now the truth is manifest: I sought to lure him away from his soul, and he speaks the truth.

قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ اِذْ رَاوَدْتُنَّ يُوسُفَ عَنْ نَفْسِه۪ۜ قُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلّٰهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ سُٓوءٍۜ قَالَتِ امْرَاَتُ الْعَز۪يزِ الْـٰٔنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّۘ اَنَا۬ رَاوَدْتُهُ عَنْ نَفْسِه۪ وَاِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِق۪ينَ
Qala ma khatbukunna ithrawadtunna yoosufa AAan nafsihi qulna hasha lillahima AAalimna AAalayhi min soo-in qalatiimraatu alAAazeezi al-ana hashasa alhaqquana rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi wa-innahu lamina assadiqeen
