Surah Yunus (Jonas) — سورة يونس - **Verse:** 72 / 109 · **Juz:** 11 · **Mushaf page:** 216 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-yunus/verse-72 ## Arabic فَاِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَاَلْتُكُمْ مِنْ اَجْرٍۜ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِۙ وَاُمِرْتُ اَنْ اَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِم۪ينَ ## Transcription Fa-in tawallaytum fama saaltukum minajrin in ajriya illa AAala Allahi waomirtuan akoona mina almuslimeen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley If you turn your backs, I have not asked you for any wage. My wage is the responsibility of Allah alone. I am commanded to be one of the Muslims.’ ### Progressive Muslims "But if you turn away, then I have not asked you for any reward, for my reward is with God. And I have been commanded to be of those who have surrendered." ### Shabbir Ahmed But if you change your mind and turn away from hostility, do so for your own good. I have asked of you no wage.
