Surah Yunus (Jonas) — سورة يونس - **Verse:** 46 / 109 · **Juz:** 11 · **Mushaf page:** 213 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-yunus/verse-46 ## Arabic وَاِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذ۪ي نَعِدُهُمْ اَوْ نَتَوَفَّـيَنَّكَ فَاِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّٰهُ شَه۪يدٌ عَلٰى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ ## Transcription Wa-imma nuriyannaka baAAdaallathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynamarjiAAuhum thumma Allahu shaheedun AAala mayafAAaloon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Whether We show you something of what We have promised them or take you back to Us, they will still return to Us. Then Allah will be witness against what they are doing. ### Progressive Muslims And if We show you some of what We promise them, or We let you pass away, then to Us is their return and God is witness over what they do. ### Shabbir Ahmed Whether We let you (O Messenger), behold something of what We promise them, or cause you to die, unto Us is their return (and the Law of Requital is ever vigilant). Allah is witness to all what they do. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab We either show you, in your life time O Muhammad some part of the promised retributive punishment, or occasion your death before you witness this punishment. Then to us they are destined to return, and Allah is Shahidun (Omnipresent) and He witnesses all that they do. ### Bijan Moeinian It does not matter whether You live long enough to see how they will pay for their evil deeds or not live long enough to witness it.
