And We sent not to a city any warner save its opulent ones said: “We are deniers of that wherewith you have been sent.”
We never sent a warner into any city without the affluent people in it saying, ‘We reject what you have been sent with. ’
And We do not send a warner to any town, except its carefree ones would Say: "We reject what you have been sent with. "
Whenever We sent a Warner to any community its rich elite declared, "Behold, we reject the message you are sent with. "

We do not send a warner to any town, except its privileged hedonists would say, "We reject what you have been sent with."
Every time we sent a warner to a community, the leaders of that community said, "We reject the message you are sent with."
We never sent an admonisher to a habitation but its well-to-do people said: "We do not believe in what you have brought. "
And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers. "
For whenever We sent a warner to any community, those of its people who had lost themselves entirely in the pursuit of pleasures would declare, "Behold, we deny that there is any truth in your message!" –
And We sent not unto any township a warner, but its pampered ones declared: Lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent.
We never sent a warner to any town but its wealthy ones said: "We disbelieve in the Message you have brought."*
We never sent a Messenger, a spectacle and a warning, to a nation but stood those with the riches similitude exact of your people O Muhammad and said to him "We do deny your mission and we do not acknowledge the message you proclaim",
Any time that I sent a Warner to a community, its powerful people said: "We do not believe in this message of yours. "
And We did not send a warner to a township but those who were given the worldly wealth and luxuries among them said: "We believe not in the (Message) with which you have been sent."
Never did We send a warner to a population, but the wealthy ones among them said: "We believe not in the (Message) with which ye have been sent."
Whenever We sent a warner to a society, its elite would say, "We truly reject what you have been sent with."
We did not send a warner to a township, but said those who lived a luxurious life in it, "We reject what you have been sent with."
Never have We sent a warner to a community without those among them who were corrupted by wealth saying, ‘We do not believe in the message you have been sent with.’
We sent no warner into any city except its men who lived at ease said, 'We disbelieve in the Message you have been sent with. '
We have not sent to any city a warner but the opulent thereof said, 'We, in what ye are sent with, disbelieve. '
And those who were deemed weak (despised) shall say to those who were proud, "Nay, it was your scheming night and day when you told us to disbelieve in Allah and to set up rivals with Him. " And they shall declare repentance when they see the penalty; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved; they shall only be requited for what they did.
And in no way did We send into any town any constant warner except that its population living in ease and luxury said, "Surely we are disbelievers in what you have been sent with. "
We have sent no warner unto any city, but the inhabitants thereof who lived in affluence said, verily we believe not that with which ye are sent.
And We never sent a warner to a (group in) town but the wealthy ones from them said: "We do not believe in the (Message) with which you (the warner) have been sent with. "
We sent no Warner to any town but its corrupted well-to-do people said, `Surely we disbelieve in the Messages that you have been sent with. '
We did not send a warner to any town without its affluent ones saying, ‘We indeed disbelieve in what you have been sent with. ’
