Those who had waxed proud will say to those who were despised: “Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you were lawbreakers.”

Those deemed great will say to those deemed weak, ‘Did we debar you from the guidance when it came to you? No, it is you who were evildoers. ’
Those who were mighty will say to those who were weak: "Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you No, it was you who were criminal. "
The leaders will say to the weak commoners, "Why - did we drive you away from the Guidance when it had come to you? Nay, it is you who were guilty (of blind following). "
Those who had waxed proud will say to those who were despised: “Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you were lawbreakers.”
Those who were mighty will say to those who were weak: "Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? No, it was you who were criminals."
Those who were mighty will say to those who were weak: "Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? No, it was you who were criminal."
The leaders will say to those who followed them, "Are we the ones who diverted you from the guidance after it came to you? No; it is you who were wicked."
The arrogant will say to the weak: "Did we hold you back from guidance after it had come to you? Certainly not. In fact you were yourselves guilty."
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals. "
those who were wont to glory in their arrogance will say unto those who had been weak: "Why - did we keep you from following the right path after it had become obvious to you? Nay, it was but you who were guilty!"
Those who were proud say unto those who were despised: Did we drive you away from the guidance after it had come unto you? Nay, but ye were guilty.
The arrogant ones will retort to those who were suppressed: "What! Did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you? Not at all; rather you yourselves were evil-doers."
Then the extravagant in their accounts of themselves say to those viewed with contempt: "Did we stand in your way and hinder you from accepting the spirit of truth which reached you to guide you into all truth?" "The fact is" they will add, "that you were people who grew daily more and more wicked".
The dominant ones will respond: "Did we force you to deny the guidance when it was represented to you? you yourself made the choice. "
And those who were arrogant will say to those who were deemed weak: "Did we keep you back from guidance after it had come to you? Nay, but you were Mujrimûn (polytheists, sinners, disbelievers, criminals)."
The arrogant ones will say to those who had been despised: "Was it we who kept you back from Guidance after it reached you? Nay, rather, it was ye who transgressed.
The arrogant will respond to the lowly, "Did we ever hinder you from guidance after it came to you? In fact, you were wicked ˹on your own˺."
Those who were overbearing will say to those weak, "Had we stopped you from (accepting) guidance after it came to you? Rather, you yourselves were guilty."
The oppressors will say to them, ‘Was it we who prevented you from following right guidance after it had reached you? No! You yourselves were sinners.’
Those that waxed proud will say to those that were abased, 'What, did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you? Nay, rather you were sinners. '
Those who were big with pride shall say to those who were thought weak, 'Was it we who turned you away from the guidance after it came to you? nay, ye were sinners. '
And those who disbelieve say, "By no means will we believe in this Quran, nor in that which is before it "Could you but see when the unjust shall be made to stand before their Lord, casting blame one another! Those who were reckoned weak (or despised) shall say to those who were proud, "Had it not been for you we would certainly have been believers. "
(The ones) who waxed proud will say to (the ones) who were deemed weak, "Did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you? No indeed, (but) you were criminals. "
They who behaved themselves arrogantly shall say unto those who were esteemed weak, did we turn you aside from the true direction, after it had come unto you? On the contrary, ye acted wickedly of your own free choice.
Those who were arrogant will say to those weak ones: "Did we keep you back from Guidance (even) after it reached you? No! Instead, it was you were at fault. "
(Thereupon) those who considered themselves superior will say to those who had been suppressed and made weak (in the world), `Was it we who kept you away from (following) the guidance after it had come to you? No, this was not the case. Rather you were guilty in your own right.'
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were abased, ‘Did we keep you from guidance after it had come to you? No, you were guilty . ’
