Surah Muhammad (Muhammad) — سورة محمد - **Verse:** 32 / 38 · **Juz:** 26 · **Mushaf page:** 509 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-muhammad/verse-32 ## Arabic اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَشَٓاقُّوا الرَّسُولَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدٰىۙ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَسَيُحْبِطُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ ## Transcription Inna allatheena kafaroo wasaddooAAan sabeeli Allahi washaqqoo arrasoola minbaAAdi ma tabayyana lahumu alhuda lan yadurooAllaha shay-an wasayuhbitu aAAmalahum ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Those who are kafir and obstruct the Way of Allah, and are entrenched in hostility towards the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, do not harm Allah in any way and He makes their actions come to nothing. ### Progressive Muslims Those who have rejected and repelled from the path of God, and stood against the messenger after the guidance has been made clear for them, they will not harm God in the least, and He will nullify their works. ### Shabbir Ahmed Behold, those who deny the Truth and hinder the Path of Allah, and oppose the Messenger after guidance has been clearly conveyed to them, cannot harm Allah in the least. And He will make all their deeds fruitless. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation Those who ignore warning and turn away from the path of God and make a breach with the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them: they will not harm God at all; but He will make vain their deeds. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation Those who have rejected and repelled from the path of God, and stood against the messenger; after the guidance has been made clear for them; they will not harm God in the least, and He will nullify their works. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament Those who disbelieve and repel from the path of GOD, and oppose the messenger after the guidance has been manifested for them, will never hurt GOD in the least. Instead, He nullifies their works. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira Surely those who do not believe, and obstruct others from the path of God, and oppose the Prophet after the way of guidance has been opened to them, will not hurt God in the least, and He will nullify all that they have done. ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds. ### Muhammad Asad Verily, they who are bent on denying the truth and on barring [others] from the path of God, and [who thus] cut themselves off from the Apostle after guidance has been vouchsafed to them, can in no wise harm God; but He will cause all their deeds to come to nought. ### Marmaduke Pickthall Lo! those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and oppose the messenger after the guidance hath been manifested unto them, they hurt Allah not a jot, and He will make their actions fruitless. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary Those who disbelieved and barred others from Allah's Way and opposed the Messenger after the True Guidance had become manifest to them, they shall not be able to cause Allah the least harm; rather, Allah will reduce all their works to nought.[1] _Footnotes_ - [1] This sentence has two meanings: ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab Those who denied Allah and stood in the way to prevent Allah's spirit of truth from guiding people into all truth, and forsook the Messenger after the truth was made evident to them by heaven and by men, shall not harm Allah in the least, but He will imprint their deeds with irreverence, profanity and damnation. ### Bijan Moeinian Those who embraced Islam and then denied the truth, prevented the others to walk on the way of their Lord and disputed with the Prophet of God, can in no way harm God. On the contrary, God will render their deeds null. ### Al-Hilali & Khan Verily, those who disbelieve, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh (i.e. Islâm), and oppose the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) (by standing against him and hurting him), after the guidance[1] has been clearly shown to them, they will not harm Allâh in the least, but He will make their deeds fruitless, ### Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those who reject Allah, hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect. ### Mustafa Khattab — The Clear Quran Indeed, those who disbelieve, hinder ˹others˺ from the Way of Allah, and defy the Messenger after ˹true˺ guidance has become clear to them; they will not harm Allah in the least, but He will render their deeds void. ### Taqi Usmani Those who disbelieve and prevent (others) from Allah’s way, and oppose the Messenger, after the Guidance has appeared to them clearly, shall never bring harm to Allah in the least, and He will render their deeds vain. ### Abdul Haleem Those who disbelieve, bar others from God’s path, and oppose the Messenger when they have been shown guidance, do not harm God in any way. He will make their deeds go to waste- ### Arthur John Arberry Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way and make a breach with the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, they will nothing hurt God, and He will make their works to fail. ### E. Henry Palmer Verily, those who misbelieve and turn folks off God's path, and break with the Apostle after the guidance that has been manifested to them, cannot harm God at all, and their works shall be void! ### Hamid S. Aziz Surely those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way and oppose the Messenger after that guidance has become clear to them cannot harm Allah in any way, and He will make null their deeds. ### Mahmoud Ghali Surely the ones who have disbelieved and barred from the way of Allah and opposed the Messenger even after the guidance has become evident to them, they will never harm Allah anything, and He will soon frustrate their deeds. ### George Sale Verily those who believe not, and turn away men from the way of God, and make opposition against the apostle, after the divine direction hath been manifested unto them, shall not hurt God at all; but He shall make their works to perish. ### Syed Vickar Ahamed Verily, those who disbelieve and, obstruct (other men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger (the Prophet), after guidance has been clearly shown to them, they will not hurt Allah in the least, but He (Allah) will make their actions fruitless. ### Amatul Rahman Omar Those who disbelieve and hinder (people) from following the path of Allâh and oppose the Messenger after true guidance has become clear to them, can do no harm to Allâh. But He will let (such) deeds of theirs bear no fruit. ### Ali Quli Qarai Indeed those who are faithless and bar from the way of Allah and defy the Apostle after guidance has become clear to them, will not hurt Allah in the least, and He shall make their works fail. ### Ahmed Hulusi — Türkçe Kur'an Çözümü Muhakkak ki hakikat bilgisini inkar edenler, Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve hakikat ilmi kendilerine açıklandıktan sonra Er Rasul'e (Rasulullah'a) muhalefet edenler, Allah'a asla hiçbir zarar veremezler! (Ama O) onların amellerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Ali Bulaç — Kur'an-ı Kerim ve Türkçe Anlamı Şüphesiz inkar edenler, Allah'ın yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine hidayet açıkça belli olduktan sonra 'elçiye karşı gelip zorluk çıkaranlar', kesin olarak Allah'a hiçbir şeyle zarar veremezler. (Allah,) Onların amellerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Bayraktar Bayraklı — Yeni Bir Anlayışın Işığında Kur'an Meali İnkar edenler, Allah'ın yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine doğru yol belli olduktan sonra Peygambere karşı gelenler, Allah'a asla zarar veremezler. Allah onların yaptıklarını boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Diyanet İşleri — Kur'an-ı Kerim Türkçe Meali İnkar edenler, Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine hidayet yolu belli olduktan sonra Peygamber'e karşı gelenler hiçbir şekilde Allah'a zarar veremezler. Allah, onların amellerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır — Kur'an-ı Kerim ve Yüce Meali Haberiniz olsun ki o küfredip Allah yolundan men eyliyen ve hak kendilerine tebeyyün ettikten sonra Peygambere karşı gelenler hiçbir zaman Allaha zerrece bir zarar edecek değiller, o onların amellerini heder edecektir ### Elmalılı (sadeleştirilmiş) Haberiniz olsun ki, inkar edip Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve gerçek kendilerine belli olduktan sonra peygambere karşı gelenler, hiçbir zaman Allah'a zerre miktarı zarar veremeyeceklerdir. O, onların yaptıklarını boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Gültekin Onan Şüphesiz küfredenler, Tanrı'nın yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine hidayet açıkça belli olduktan sonra 'elçiye karşı gelip zorluk çıkaranlar', kesin olarak Tanrı'ya hiçbir şeyle zarar veremezler. (Tanrı,) Onların amellerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Hasan Basri Çantay — Kur'an-ı Hakim ve Meal-i Kerim Hakıykat, küfredib de Allah yolundan sapanlar, hidayet (yolu) kendilerine besbelli oldukdan sonra bile, peygambere muhaalefet edenler Allaha hiçbir şeyle zarar yapamazlar. O, bunların amellerini hep boşa çıkarır. ### İbni Kesir Muhakkak ki küfredip de Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine hidayet belli olduktan sonra peygamberlere karşı gelenler; Allah'a hiç bir zarar veremeyeceklerdir. O; bunların amellerini hep boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Muhammed Esed — Kur'an Mesajı Gerçek şu ki, hakikati inkara şartlanmış olan ve (başkalarını) Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve doğru yol rehberliği kendilerine tevdi edildikten sonra (bu şekilde) kendilerini (Allah'ın) Elçisi'nden koparanlar hiçbir şekilde Allah'a bir zarar veremezler; ama Allah, bunların bütün fiillerini değersiz kılacak, boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Şaban Piriş — Kur'an-ı Kerim Türkçe Anlamı Kendilerine doğru yol açıkça belli olduktan sonra, Allah'ın yolundan saptıran ve Resul'e karşı gelen kafirler, kesinlikle hiçbir şekilde Allah'a zarar veremezler. Allah, onların (bütün) işlerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Süleyman Ateş — Kur'an-ı Kerim ve Yüce Meali Nankörlük edip Allah yoluna engel olanlar ve kendilerine doğru yol belli olduktan sonra Elçiyi incitenler Allah'a hiçbir zarar veremezler. Allah onların işlerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Yaşar Nuri Öztürk — Kur'an-ı Kerim Meali Nankörlüğe sapıp Allah yolundan alıkoyanlar ve hidayet kendilerine tam bir şekilde belli olduktan sonra resule kafa tutanlar, Allah'a hiçbir şekilde zarar veremezler. Çünkü onların yaptıklarını işe yaramaz kılacaktır. ### Süleymaniye Vakfı (Eski Baskı) — Süleymaniye Vakfı Meali Ayetleri görmezlikten gelenler ve Allah'ın yolundan engelleyenler, doğruları açıkça gördükleri halde Elçi'ye ters düşenler, Allah'a zarar veremezler. Allah, onların işlerini boşa çıkaracaktır. ### Mehmet Okuyan — Kur’an Meal-Tefsir Şüphesiz ki inkar edip (insanları) Allah yolundan alıkoyan ve kendilerine doğru yol belli olduktan sonra Elçi'ye karşı gelenler, Allah'a asla hiçbir zarar veremeyeceklerdir.
