Surah Maryam (Mary) — سورة مريم - **Verse:** 19 / 98 · **Juz:** 16 · **Mushaf page:** 305 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-maryam/verse-19 ## Arabic قَالَ اِنَّـمَٓا اَنَا۬ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِۗ لِاَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَاماً زَكِياًّ ## Transcription Qala innama ana rasoolurabbiki li-ahaba laki ghulaman zakiyya ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley He said, ‘I am only your Lord’s messenger so that He can give you a pure boy. ’ ### Progressive Muslims He said: "I am the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son. " ### Shabbir Ahmed He said, "I am only a Messenger of your Lord who says 'I shall bestow upon you the gift of a son endowed with a spotless character.
