Surah Ibrahim (Abraham) — سورة ابراهيم - **Verse:** 47 / 52 · **Juz:** 13 · **Mushaf page:** 260 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ibrahim/verse-47 ## Arabic فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّٰهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِه۪ رُسُلَهُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَز۪يزٌ ذُوانْتِقَامٍۜ ## Transcription Fala tahsabanna Allahamukhlifa waAAdihi rusulahu inna Allaha AAazeezun thoointiqam ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Do not imagine that Allah will break His promise to His Messengers. Allah is Almighty, Exactor of Revenge. ### Progressive Muslims So do not think that God will fail to keep His promise to His messengers. God is Noble, able to seek revenge. ### Shabbir Ahmed So think not that Allah could ever fail to keep His Promise to His Messengers. They are being warned that they should not delude themselves because of the delay in their punishment. They should note it well that Allah fulfilled the promises He made to the former Messengers and defeated their opponents.
