Surah Ibrahim (Abraham) — سورة ابراهيم - **Verse:** 31 / 52 · **Juz:** 13 · **Mushaf page:** 258 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ibrahim/verse-31 ## Arabic قُلْ لِعِبَادِيَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا يُق۪يمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِراًّ وَعَلَانِيَةً مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَا بَيْعٌ ف۪يهِ وَلَا خِلَالٌ ## Transcription Qul liAAibadiya allatheena amanooyuqeemoo assalata wayunfiqoo mimmarazaqnahum sirran waAAalaniyatan min qabli anya/tiya yawmun la bayAAun feehi wala khilal ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Tell My slaves who have iman that they should establish salat and give from what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, before a Day arrives on which there will be no trading and no friendship. ### Progressive Muslims Say to My servants who believe, that they should hold the contact-method, and spend from what provisions We granted them secretly and publicly, before a Day comes when there is no trade therein, nor will there be any friends. ### Shabbir Ahmed (O Prophet) "Tell My servants to establish and consolidate the Divine System and spend of the provision We have given them, on others, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes wherein there shall be no trading of deeds nor friendship be of avail.
