Surah Hud (Hud) — سورة هود - **Verse:** 60 / 123 · **Juz:** 12 · **Mushaf page:** 227 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-hud/verse-60 ## Arabic وَاُتْبِعُوا ف۪ي هٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّ عَاداً كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْۜ اَلَا بُعْداً لِعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُودٍ۟ ## Transcription WaotbiAAoo fee hathihi addunyalaAAnatan wayawma alqiyamati ala inna AAadankafaroo rabbahum ala buAAdan liAAadin qawmi hood ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley They were pursued by a curse in this world and on the Day of Rising. Yes indeed! ‘Ad rejected their Lord, so away with ‘Ad, the people of Hud! ### Progressive Muslims And they were followed by a curse in this world and on the Day of Judgment, for 'Aad rejected their Lord. There is no more 'Aad, the people of Hud. ### Shabbir Ahmed And they were pursued in this world by Divine rejection, and will be overtaken by it on the Resurrection Day. Oh, verily, Aad denied their Sustainer!
