Surah Hud (Hud) — سورة هود - **Verse:** 14 / 123 · **Juz:** 12 · **Mushaf page:** 222 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-hud/verse-14 ## Arabic فَاِلَّمْ يَسْتَج۪يبُوا لَكُمْ فَاعْلَمُٓوا اَنَّـمَٓا اُنْزِلَ بِعِلْمِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنْ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ فَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ ## Transcription Fa-illam yastajeeboo lakum faAAlamooannama onzila biAAilmi Allahi waan la ilahailla huwa fahal antum muslimoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley If they do not respond to you then know that it has been sent down with Allah’s knowledge and that there is no god but Him. So will you not become Muslims? ### Progressive Muslims So, if they do not respond to you, then know that it was sent down with God's knowledge, and that there is no god but He. Will you then surrender ### Shabbir Ahmed "And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it has been revealed only in the Knowledge of Allah; and that there is no god but He. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender? ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary Then if (your deities) do not respond to your call for help then feel assured that this Book was revealed with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no true god but Him. Will you, then, surrender (to this truth)?[1] _Footnotes_ - [1] Here one and the same argument has been advanced to prove two things. First, the Quran has been revealed by Allah. Secondly, it proves the truth of the doctrine of Tauhid.
