Surah Hud (Hud) — سورة هود - **Verse:** 120 / 123 · **Juz:** 12 · **Mushaf page:** 234 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-hud/verse-120 ## Arabic وَكُلاًّ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ اَنْبَٓاءِ الرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِه۪ فُؤٰادَكَۚ وَجَٓاءَكَ ف۪ي هٰذِهِ الْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌ وَذِكْرٰى لِلْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ ## Transcription Wakullan naqussu AAalayka min anba-iarrusuli ma nuthabbitu bihi fu-adaka wajaakafee hathihi alhaqqu wamawAAithatun wathikralilmu/mineen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley We have given you all this news about the Messengers so We can make your heart firm by means of it. The truth has come to you in this and an admonishment and reminder to the muminun. ### Progressive Muslims And from each We relate to you the news of the messengers with which We strengthen your heart. In this has come to you the truth and a lesson and a reminder for the believers. ### Shabbir Ahmed And (O Messenger), all that We relate to you of the history of some Messengers, is in order to strengthen your heart. Although through these accounts the Truth comes to you, but it is also meant to be an enlightenment and Reminder for all believers in this Divine Writ. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation And all We relate to thee from the reports of the messengers is that whereby We make firm thy heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers. ### Muhammad Asad AND [remember:] out of all the accounts relating to the [earlier] apostles We convey unto thee [only] that wherewith We [aim to] make firm thy heart: for through these [accounts] comes the truth unto thee, as well as an admonition and a reminder unto all believers. ### Marmaduke Pickthall And all that We relate unto thee of the story of the messengers is in order that thereby We may make firm thy heart. We narrate these anecdotes of Messengers to you that We may strengthen through them your heart. In these anecdotes come to you the truth, and an exhortation, and a reminder for the believers. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab We relate to you O Muhammad these various narratives of the Messengers who were sent before you, representing their determined effort under difficulties to accomplish the necessary end. We narrate them to you to confirm your heart, do it good and strengthen it in purpose and action. In the recital of these facts, you shall find O Muhammad narratives with grace divine imbued, imparting the spirit of truth guiding into all truth, exhorting and reminding those whose hearts have been touched with the divine hand. ### Bijan Moeinian I tell you about the previous prophets to strengthen your belief. Here You have received the truth and enlightenments to be reminders for the believers. ### Al-Hilali & Khan And all that We relate to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) of the news of the Messengers is in order that We may make strong and firm your heart thereby. And in this (chapter of the Qur’an) has come to you the truth, as well as an admonition and a reminder for the believers. ### Abdullah Yusuf Ali All that we relate to thee of the stories of the messengers,- with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a message of remembrance to those who believe. ### Mustafa Khattab — The Clear Quran And We relate to you ˹O Prophet˺ the stories of the messengers to reassure your heart.
