Surah Ghafir (The Forgiver) — سورة غافر - **Verse:** 70 / 85 · **Juz:** 24 · **Mushaf page:** 474 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ghafir/verse-70 ## Arabic اَلَّذ۪ينَ كَذَّبُوا بِالْكِتَابِ وَبِمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا بِه۪ رُسُلَنَا۠ۛ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَۙ ## Transcription Allatheena kaththaboo bilkitabiwabima arsalna bihi rusulana fasawfayaAAlamoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers will certainly come to know ### Progressive Muslims Those who deny the Scripture, and what We have sent Our messengers with. Therefore, they will come to know. ### Shabbir Ahmed - Those who deny the Book and thus the Message with which We sent all Our Messengers. Their denial of the Quran and the teachings brought by the Messenger (peace be upon him) of Allah and their resisting by disputation the revelations of Allah instead of pondering over them seriously, was the basic cause, which has led them astray and exhausted all possibilities of their adopting the right way. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab These and such persons of future generations and of times past together with the present, who refuse to acknowledge the Book -the Quran- and the spirit of truth We conferred on Our Messengers who were sent before to guide people into all truth, shall come to know and experience the fatal consequence of their denial of Allah's Authority, ### Bijan Moeinian That is because they disbelieved in the Scriptures and looked down upon My messages sent to them through My Prophets.
