Surah Fussilat (Explained in detail) — سورة فصلت - **Verse:** 9 / 54 · **Juz:** 24 · **Mushaf page:** 476 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-fussilat/verse-9 ## Arabic قُلْ اَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذ۪ي خَلَقَ الْاَرْضَ ف۪ي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَـهُٓ اَنْدَاداًۜ ذٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَم۪ينَۚ ## Transcription Qul a-innakum latakfuroona billatheekhalaqa al-arda fee yawmayni watajAAaloona lahu andadanthalika rabbu alAAalameen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Say: ‘Do you reject Him who created the earth in two days, and make others equal to Him? That is the Lord of all the worlds. ’ ### Progressive Muslims Say: "You are rejecting the One who created the Earth in two days, and you set up equals with Him. This is Lord of the worlds." ### Shabbir Ahmed Say, "What! Do you indeed deny Him Who has created the earth in two stages? (Firstly when it shot away like a fiery ball from the Cosmic matter and secondly, when it cooled off sufficiently to become habitable). And would you still ascribe rivals unto Him? He it is, the Sustainer of the Worlds."
