Surah Fussilat (Explained in detail) — سورة فصلت - **Verse:** 27 / 54 · **Juz:** 24 · **Mushaf page:** 478 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-fussilat/verse-27 ## Arabic فَلَنُذ۪يقَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَاباً شَد۪يداً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ اَسْوَاَ الَّذ۪ي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ## Transcription Falanutheeqanna allatheenakafaroo AAathaban shadeedan walanajziyannahum aswaa allatheekanoo yaAAmaloon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley We will make those who are kafir suffer a severe punishment and repay them for the worst of what they did. ### Progressive Muslims We will let those who have rejected taste a severe retribution. And We will recompense them for the evil that they used to do. ### Shabbir Ahmed But We shall certainly make these deniers taste an awful suffering, and verily, We shall requite them for the worst of their deeds. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation But We will let those who ignore warning taste a severe punishment; and We will reward them for the worst of what they did. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation We will let those who have rejected taste a severe retribution.
