Surah Fatir (The Originator) — سورة فاطر - **Verse:** 38 / 45 · **Juz:** 22 · **Mushaf page:** 437 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-fatir/verse-38 ## Arabic اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ اِنَّهُ عَل۪يمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ ## Transcription Inna Allaha AAalimu ghaybi assamawatiwal-ardi innahu AAaleemun bithati assudoor ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Allah knows the Unseen of the heavens and earth. Allah knows what the heart contains. ### Progressive Muslims God knows unseen of the heavens and the Earth. He is knowledgeable of what is even inside the chests. ### Shabbir Ahmed Verily, Allah is the Knower of the Hidden realities of the heavens. Behold, He is Knower of what is in the hearts. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation God is the Knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth; He is knowing of that within the breasts. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation God knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. ### Muhammad Asad Verily, God knows the hidden reality of the heavens and the earth: [and,] behold, He has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men]. ### Marmaduke Pickthall Lo! Allah is the Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Lo! He is Aware of the secret of (men's) breasts. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary Surely Allah knows the Unseen in the heavens and the earth. He even knows the secrets hidden in people's breasts. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab Allah is 'Alimun indeed of all the invisible and the unknown in the heavens and on earth. He holds prescience of all private thoughts and feelings that are reposited in the breasts. ### Bijan Moeinian God is aware of every (open or secret) thing that takes place in the universe and the earth. He is aware of all innermost thoughts. ### Al-Hilali & Khan Verily, Allâh is the All-Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Verily! He is the All-Knower of that is in the breasts. ### Abdullah Yusuf Ali Verily Allah knows (all) the hidden things of the heavens and the earth: verily He has full knowledge of all that is in (men's) hearts. ### Mustafa Khattab — The Clear Quran Indeed, Allah is the Knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth. He surely knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. ### Taqi Usmani Surely Allah is the Knower of the unseen in the heavens and the earth. Take us out, we will do good deeds, not the wrong which we used to do. " Did We not preserve you alive long enough for him who reflected to reflect?
