Surah Fatir (The Originator) — سورة فاطر - **Verse:** 30 / 45 · **Juz:** 22 · **Mushaf page:** 436 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-fatir/verse-30 ## Arabic لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ اُجُورَهُمْ وَيَز۪يدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ۜ اِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ ## Transcription Liyuwaffiyahum ojoorahum wayazeedahum min fadlihiinnahu ghafoorun shakoor ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley that He will pay them their wages in full and give them more from His unbounded favour. He is Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful. ### Progressive Muslims He will give them their recompense, and He will increase them from His blessings. He is Forgiving, Appreciative. ### Shabbir Ahmed He will pay their wages and give them yet more of His Bounty. He is Absolver of imperfections, Responsive to gratitude. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation That He will pay their rewards in full, and increase them out of His bounty; He is forgiving and appreciative. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation He will give them their recompense, and He will increase them from His blessings. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative. ### Muhammad Asad since He will grant them their just rewards, and give them yet more out of His bounty: for, verily, He is much-forgiving, ever-responsive to gratitude. ### Marmaduke Pickthall That He will pay them their wages and increase them of His grace. Lo! He is Forgiving, Responsive. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary (a trade in which they have invested their all) so that Allah may pay them their wages in full and may add to them out of His Bounty.[1] He is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative.[2] _Footnotes_ - [1] This kind of conduct and practice of the believers has been likened to a trade bargain because in trade a man invests his money and labor and capabilities in the hope that he will not only get his capital back and his wages for the time and energy spent but in addition some profit as well. Likewise, a believer also invests his wealth and his time and his labor and capabilities in carrying out Allah’s commands and in His service and worship and in the struggle to promote the cause of His religion in the hope that he will not only get his full rewards for it but Allah will bless him with much more from His bounty as well. But there is a great difference between the two kinds of bargains. In the worldly trade bargains there is the risk of loss also along with the hope of profits. Contrary to this, in the bargain that a sincere servant makes with his God there is no risk of any loss whatever. - [2] That is, Allah’s relation with the sincere believers is not that of a miserly master who checks his servant on trivialities and brings all his services and loyalties to naught on account of a minor error. But Allah is the Most Beneficent and Generous Master. He overlooks the errors of His obedient servant and appreciates whatever service he might be able to render. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab This is to satisfy their needs, to reward them with what is commensurate with their deeds and to make His grace abound in them, He is indeed Ghafurun and Shakurun (Thankful). ### Bijan Moeinian God will fully reward them and shower them many times out of His Grace. God is the Most Forgiving, the Most Appreciative. ### Al-Hilali & Khan That He may pay them their wages in full, and give them (even) more, out of His Grace.
