Surah Az-Zumar (The Groups) — سورة الزمر - **Verse:** 60 / 75 · **Juz:** 24 · **Mushaf page:** 464 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-az-zumar/verse-60 ## Arabic وَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ تَرَى الَّذ۪ينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى اللّٰهِ وُجُوهُهُمْ مُسْوَدَّةٌۜ اَلَيْسَ ف۪ي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِلْمُتَكَبِّر۪ينَ ## Transcription Wayawma alqiyamati tara allatheenakathaboo AAala Allahi wujoohuhum muswaddatunalaysa fee jahannama mathwan lilmutakabbireen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley On the Day of Rising you will see those who lied against Allah with their faces blackened. Do not the arrogant have a dwelling place in Hell? ### Progressive Muslims And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about God their faces will be blackened. Is there not an abode in Hell for the arrogant ones ### Shabbir Ahmed Saddened in gloom you will see, on the Resurrection Day, the faces of those who lied concerning Allah.
