Surah At-Tawbah (The Repentance) — سورة التوبة - **Verse:** 88 / 129 · **Juz:** 10 · **Mushaf page:** 200 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-at-tawbah/verse-88 ## Arabic لٰكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مَعَهُ جَاهَدُوا بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرَاتُۘ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ## Transcription Lakini arrasoolu wallatheenaamanoo maAAahu jahadoo bi-amwalihimwaanfusihim waola-ika lahumu alkhayratu waola-ikahumu almuflihoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley But the Messenger and those who have iman along with him have done jihad with their wealth and with themselves. They are the people who will have the good things. They are the ones who are successful. ### Progressive Muslims But the messenger and those who believe with him have strived with their money and their lives. For them will be the good things, and they are the successful ones. ### Shabbir Ahmed And the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive with their wealth and person.
