And had they been satisfied with what God and His messenger gave them, and said: “Sufficient for us is God; God will give us of His bounty, as will His messenger — to God do we turn in hope,”

وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ رَضُوا مَٓا اٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ سَيُؤْت۪ينَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ وَرَسُولُهُٓۙ اِنَّٓا اِلَى اللّٰهِ رَاغِبُونَ۟

    If only they had been pleased with what Allah and His Messenger had given them and had said, ‘Allah is enough for us. Allah will give us of His bounty as will His Messenger. It is to Allah that we make our plea.’
