Surah At-Tahrim (The Prohibition) — سورة التحريم - **Verse:** 9 / 12 · **Juz:** 28 · **Mushaf page:** 560 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-at-tahrim/verse-9 ## Arabic يَٓا اَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِق۪ينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْۜ وَمَأْوٰيهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمَص۪يرُ ## Transcription Ya ayyuha annabiyyu jahidialkuffara walmunafiqeena waghluthAAalayhim wama/wahum jahannamu wabi/sa almaseer ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley O Prophet! do jihad against the kafirun and hypocrites and be harsh with them. Their refuge is Hell. What an evil destination! ### Progressive Muslims O prophet, strive against the rejecters and the hypocrites and be stern with them. Their abode is Hell, and a miserable destiny. ### Shabbir Ahmed O Prophet! Strive against the rejecters of the Truth and the hypocrites, and be stern with them.
