Surah Ash-Shuraa (Consultation) — سورة الشورى - **Verse:** 31 / 53 · **Juz:** 25 · **Mushaf page:** 485 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ash-shuraa/verse-31 ## Arabic وَمَٓا اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِز۪ينَ فِي الْاَرْضِۚ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَص۪يرٍ ## Transcription Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee al-ardiwama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin walanaseer ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley You will not be able to thwart Him on the earth and you have no protector or helper besides Allah. ### Progressive Muslims And you can never escape, and you have none besides God as an ally or helper. ### Shabbir Ahmed And you cannot evade the Law of Requital anywhere in the earth, and you have no patron and no helper besides Allah. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation And you cannot escape in the earth; and you have, besides God, neither ally nor helper. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation And you can never escape, and you have none besides God as an ally or helper. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament You can never escape, and you have none beside GOD as a Lord and Master. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira You cannot thwart Him on the earth, and have no friend or helper apart from Him. ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) And you will not cause failure [to Allah ] upon the earth.
