Thou mightest destroy thy soul from grief that they are not believers.
Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not become muminun.
Perhaps you are grieving yourself that they do not become believers.
(O Prophet) Will you, (in your compassion), torment yourself to death because they refuse to believe in it?

Perhaps you grieve yourself that they do not become believers.
Perhaps you are grieving yourself that they do not acknowledge.
You may blame yourself that they are not believers.
You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief.
Perhaps, , you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.
Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death because they refuse to believe ?
It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not.
(O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe.*
Seemingly, O Muhammad you are betaking yourself in pursuit of their -the infidels- train of thought with distress, constant regret and discontent and torturing yourself lest they should refuse credit to this divine message.
O’ Mohammad, even if you go to the extreme and kill yourself of grief, those who do not want to believe will not believe in the words of God (as mentioned in Qur’an).
It may be that you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers .
It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers.
Perhaps you ˹O Prophet˺ will grieve yourself to death over their disbelief.
(O Prophet,) perhaps you are going to let yourself collapse in grief because they do not believe.
, are you going to worry yourself to death because they will not believe?
Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers.
haply thou art vexing thyself to death that they will not be believers!
26:2. These are the verses of the Book that clarifies (illuminates);
You would possibly consume yourself that they are not believers.
Peradventure thou afflictest thy self unto death, lest the Meccans become not true believers.
It may be that you upset your soul with sorrow, because they do not become believers.
Perhaps you will consume yourself away (with anxiety) because they do not become believers.
You are liable to imperil your life that they will not have faith.
