It would therefore be proper that we should reproduce here the explanations given by the other commentators in this regard. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab And his mission was accepted with the consenting minds of the whole who conformed their will to Allah's will and by consequence We made them enjoy life up to a predetermined point of time. ### Bijan Moeinian As they chose to believe in him, we let them live [comfortably] until the day that they were supposed to face their natural deaths.
