Surah Ar-Rum (The Romans) — سورة الروم - **Verse:** 11 / 60 · **Juz:** 21 · **Mushaf page:** 404 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ar-rum/verse-11 ## Arabic اَللّٰهُ يَبْدَؤُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُع۪يدُهُ ثُمَّ اِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ## Transcription Allahu yabdao alkhalqa thummayuAAeeduhu thumma ilayhi turjaAAoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Allah originates creation, then will regenerate it, then you will be returned to Him. ### Progressive Muslims God initiates the creation, then He repeats it, then to Him you will return. ### Shabbir Ahmed (All this happens to nations according to Divine Laws that are operational in the entire Universe. ) He initiates the creation, and then repeats. Common sense testifies that the One Who can originate creation, can reproduce the same creation far more easily. The origination of the creation is an actuality which exists before everybody, and the disbelievers and the mushriks also admit that this is the work of Allah alone: "Now it will be clearly absurd on their part to think that God Who has originated this creation, cannot reproduce it." ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab Allah starts creation and reproduces it. He creates and recreates* and to Him shall all of you be sent back. ### Bijan Moeinian God is the One Who originates the creation with a re-production mechanism in it.
