Surah Ar-Rum (The Romans) — سورة الروم - **Verse:** 10 / 60 · **Juz:** 21 · **Mushaf page:** 404 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ar-rum/verse-10 ## Arabic ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذ۪ينَ اَسَٓاؤُا السُّٓوآٰى اَنْ كَذَّبُوا بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَكَانُوا بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِؤُ۫نَ۟ ## Transcription Thumma kana AAaqibata allatheenaasaoo assoo-a an kaththaboo bi-ayatiAllahi wakanoo biha yastahzi-oon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Then the final fate of those who did evil will be the Worst because they denied Allah’s Signs and mocked at them. ### Progressive Muslims Then the end of those who did evil was evil, that is because they denied God's signs, and they used to mock them. ### Shabbir Ahmed And once again - miserable is the end of those who deal with others unfairly, and since they denied Allah's Messages and ridiculed them (they failed to reform). ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation Then evil was the final outcome of those who did evil because they denied the proofs of God and mocked them. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation Then the end of those who did evil was evil, that is because they denied the signs of God, and they used to mock them. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament The consequences for those who committed evil had to be evil. Çünkü Allah'ın ayetlerini yalanladılar ve onlarla eğleniyorlardı. ### Gültekin Onan Sonra, kötülük yapanların uğradıkları son, Tanrı'nın ayetlerini yalanlamaları ve alay konusu edinmeleri dolayısıyla çok kötü oldu. ### Hasan Basri Çantay — Kur'an-ı Hakim ve Meal-i Kerim Sonra kötülük eden (o ümmet) lerin aakıbeti ateş oldu. Çünkü onlar Allahın ayetlerini tekzib etmişlerdi.
