Surah Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder) — سورة الرعد - **Verse:** 43 / 43 · **Juz:** 13 · **Mushaf page:** 254 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ar-rad/verse-43 ## Arabic وَيَقُولُ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلاًۜ قُلْ كَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ شَه۪يداً بَيْن۪ي وَبَيْنَكُمْۙ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ ## Transcription Wayaqoolu allatheena kafaroo lastamursalan qul kafa billahi shaheedan bayneewabaynakum waman AAindahu AAilmu alkitab ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Those who are kafir say, ‘You are not a Messenger. ’ Say: ‘Allah is a sufficient witness between you and me, and anyone else who has knowledge of the Book.’ ### Progressive Muslims And those who reject Say: "You are not a messenger. " Say: "God is sufficient as a witness between me and you, the One who has the knowledge of the Scripture." ### Shabbir Ahmed The disbelievers say, "You have not been sent (by God). " Say, "None can bear witness between me and you as Allah does; and then, none can bear witness as the one who truly understands this Book by way of reason." Say: Allah, and whosoever hath knowledge of the Scripture, is sufficient witness between me and you. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary The unbelievers claim that you have not been sent by Allah. Yani böyle bir şahitlik, ancak Allah'ın sözüne bakılarak yapılabilir. O halde doğru olan, Muhammed Aleyhisselamın elçiliğinin, Kitaba dayandırılmasıdır. Bu durum başka ayetlerden de görülebilir.
