Surah Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder) — سورة الرعد - **Verse:** 34 / 43 · **Juz:** 13 · **Mushaf page:** 252 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ar-rad/verse-34 ## Arabic لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْاٰخِرَةِ اَشَقُّۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ ## Transcription Lahum AAathabun fee alhayatiaddunya walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaqqu wama lahum mina Allahi min waq ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley They will receive punishment in the life of this world and the punishment of the Next World is harsher still. They have no defender against Allah. ### Progressive Muslims They will have a punishment in the worldly life, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more difficult. And they will have no defender against God. ### Shabbir Ahmed For them is torment in the life of this world, and verily the doom of the life to come is harder, and they will have no savior for them against Allah. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation They have punishment in the life of this world; and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe; and they have against God no defender. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation They will have a punishment in the worldly life, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more difficult. (Tevbe 9/115) "O, kişinin içine davranışlarının yanlışlığını da doğruluğunu da fısıldar. Kim kendini geliştirirse umduğuna kavuşur. Kim de kendini pis işlere sokarsa kaybeder."
