And to God submits whoso is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows in the mornings and the evenings.

To Allah Who controls the fate of all, do all beings, the material and the immaterial, in the heavens and on earth submit to His government and to His supreme controlling and influencing power willingly or unwillingly. So do the shadows they cast on the ground or on a surface by the intercepting sun rays fore and afternoon, and other luminary in the hull of the eve.
To God submit whatever is in existence in the heavens and the earth. They do so willingly or unwillingly (A disbeliever’s heart, e.g., has to submit itself to what God has ordered it to do and its owner cannot change it to his will.) Have you not seen that the shadow of all things bow down (willingly or unwillingly) before the Lord in the morning and the evening?
And unto Allâh (Alone) falls in prostration whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their shadows in the mornings and in the afternoons.
Whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth do prostrate themselves to Allah (Acknowledging subjection),- with good-will or in spite of themselves: so do their shadows in the morning and evenings.

True prayer is only a call to Allah; and those who call on others besides Him shall not be answered at all, except as one who stretches out his hand to the water that it may reach his mouth, but it reaches it not! The call of the disbelievers is futile.
And to Allah prostrate themselves whoever are in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows (prostrate) in the early mornings and (the hours) before sunset. A prostration is to be performed here.
Whatsoever is in heaven and on earth worshippeth God, voluntarily or of force; and their shadows also, morning and evening.
And whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth prostrate themselves to Allah (in respect and fear)— Willingly or unwillingly (with good will or in spite of themselves): Like their shadows do, in the mornings and the evenings.
All those that are in the heavens and on the earth submit to Allâh alone; whether they choose to obey willingly or not, and likewise do their shadows, in the mornings and evenings, (and they are all subject to the divine law (- His law of nature).
