Surah An-Nur (The Light) — سورة النور - **Verse:** 13 / 64 · **Juz:** 18 · **Mushaf page:** 350 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-an-nur/verse-13 ## Arabic لَوْلَا جَٓاؤُ۫ عَلَيْهِ بِاَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَٓاءَۚ فَاِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِالشُّهَدَٓاءِ فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ ## Transcription Lawla jaoo AAalayhibi-arbaAAati shuhadaa fa-ith lam ya/too bishshuhada-ifaola-ika AAinda Allahi humu alkathiboon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Why did they not produce four witnesses to it? Since they did not bring four witnesses, in Allah’s sight, they are liars. ### Progressive Muslims If only they had brought four witnesses to it. If they did not have the witnesses, then these with God are the liars. ### Shabbir Ahmed Why do they not (demand of the accusers that they) produce four witnesses?
