Surah An-Nahl (The Bee) — سورة النحل - **Verse:** 12 / 128 · **Juz:** 14 · **Mushaf page:** 267 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-an-nahl/verse-12 ## Arabic وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَۙ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَۜ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِاَمْرِه۪ۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَۙ ## Transcription Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla wannaharawashshamsa walqamara wannujoomumusakhkharatun bi-amrihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley He has made night and day subservient to you, and the sun and moon and stars, all subject to His command. There are certainly Signs in that for people who use their intellect. ### Progressive Muslims And He committed for you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, and the stars are committed by His command. In that are signs for a people who comprehend. ### Shabbir Ahmed He has committed in your service the night and the day, as well as the sun and the moon, and the stars are committed by His Command.
