That is from the reports of the Unseen which We reveal to thee. And thou wast not with them when they cast their lots for who should have charge of Mary. And thou wast not with them when they disputed.

Maryam, obey your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow. ’

God is hereby informs you of the unseen. After all you were not there when recourse to casting lots to choose a guardian among themselves for Mary and started to dispute among themselves.
