They will have no helpers. ### Progressive Muslims These are the ones whose works will be lost in this world, and in the Hereafter they will have no supporters. ### Shabbir Ahmed They are the people whose doings shall be nullified in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers at all. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation Those are they whose works are vain in the World and the Hereafter; and they have no helpers. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation These are the ones whose works will be lost in this world, and in the Hereafter they will have no supporters. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament Their works have been nullified, both in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira Their good deeds will be wasted in this world and in the next, and none will they have to help them. ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers. ### Muhammad Asad It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. ### Marmaduke Pickthall Those are they whose works have failed in the world and the Hereafter; and they have no helpers. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary These are the people whose works have gone to waste in this world and in the World to Come.[1] They have none to help them.[2] _Footnotes_ - [1] They have spent their efforts and energies in a manner leading to catastrophic results in this world and the Next. - [2] No power can make these misdeeds either bear good fruit or prevent them bearing evil fruit.
