Surah Ali 'Imran (The Family of Imraan) — سورة آل عمران - **Verse:** 146 / 200 · **Juz:** 4 · **Mushaf page:** 67 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-146 ## Arabic وَكَاَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَۙ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَث۪يرٌۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَٓا اَصَابَهُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِر۪ينَ ## Transcription Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo wallahu yuhibbu assabireen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Many a Prophet has been killed, when there were many thousands with him! They did not give up in the face of what assailed them in the Way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor did they yield. Allah loves the steadfast. ### Progressive Muslims And many prophets had a large number of devotees fighting with them. They did not waver by what afflicted them in the cause of God, nor did they become weak, nor did they become discouraged; and God loves the patient ones. ### Shabbir Ahmed Many Prophets have fought in the Cause of Allah and with them a great many men of God, without wavering under adversity, nor did they hesitate nor became discouraged. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allâh’s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves.
