Surah Ali 'Imran > سورة آل عمران — The Family of Imraan · 200 verses · Mushaf page: 50 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran - **Translation:** Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation _In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful._ بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ ## Verse 1 الٓمٓۚ Alif-lam-meem alif lām mīm _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-1.md_ ## Verse 2 اَللّٰهُ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُۜ Allahu la ilaha illahuwa alhayyu alqayyoom God, there is no god save He, the Living, the Eternal. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-2.md_ ## Verse 3 نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَاَنْزَلَ التَّوْرٰيةَ وَالْاِنْج۪يلَۙ Nazzala AAalayka alkitaba bilhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi waanzala attawratawal-injeel He sent down upon thee the Writ with the truth, confirming what was before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-3.md_ ## Verse 4 مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَاَنْزَلَ الْفُرْقَانَۜ اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَد۪يدٌۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَز۪يزٌ ذُوانْتِقَامٍ Min qablu hudan linnasiwaanzala alfurqana inna allatheena kafaroo bi-ayatiAllahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun wallahuAAazeezun thoo intiqam Before as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Division. Those who deny the proofs of God, they have a severe punishment; and God is exalted in might and vengeful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-4.md_ ## Verse 5 اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَخْفٰى عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَٓاءِۜ Inna Allaha la yakhfaAAalayhi shay-on fee al-ardi wala fee assama/- From God hides not anything in the earth or in the heaven. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-5.md_ ## Verse 6 هُوَ الَّذ۪ي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْاَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَٓاءُۜ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَز۪يزُ الْحَك۪يمُ Huwa allathee yusawwirukum feeal-arhami kayfa yashao la ilaha illahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem He it is who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god save He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-6.md_ ## Verse 7 هُوَ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ اٰيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ اُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَاُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌۜ فَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَٓاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَٓاءَ تَأْو۪يلِه۪ۚ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْو۪يلَهُٓ اِلَّا اللّٰهُۢ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ اٰمَنَّا بِه۪ۙ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَاۚ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّٓا اُو۬لُوا الْاَلْبَابِ Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitabaminhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommualkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faammaallatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona matashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati wabtighaata/weelihi wama yaAAlamu ta/weelahu illa Allahuwarrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albab He it is that sent down upon thee the Writ; among it are explicit proofs: they are the foundation of the Writ; and others are ambiguous. Then as for those in whose hearts is deviation: they follow what is ambiguous thereof, seeking the means of denial, and seeking its interpretation. And no one knows its interpretation save God, and those firm in knowledge; they say: “We believe in it; all is from our Lord.” But only those of insight take heed. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-7.md_ ## Verse 8 رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةًۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ Rabbana la tuzigh quloobanabaAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunkarahmatan innaka anta alwahhab “Our Lord: make Thou not our hearts to deviate after Thou hast guided us; and bestow Thou upon us mercy from Thyself; Thou art the Bestower. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-8.md_ ## Verse 9 رَبَّنَٓا اِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ ف۪يهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْم۪يعَادَ۟ Rabbana innaka jamiAAu annasiliyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha layukhlifu almeeAAad “Our Lord: Thou art gathering mankind to a day about which there is no doubt”; God will not break the appointment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-9.md_ ## Verse 10 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَٓا اَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِۙ Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniyaAAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahishay-an waola-ika hum waqoodu annar Those who ignore warning: their wealth and their children will avail them nothing against God; and it is they who are the fuel of the Fire, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-10.md_ ## Verse 11 كَدَأْبِ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَۙ وَالَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۜ كَذَّبُوا بِاٰيَاتِنَاۚ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ شَد۪يدُ الْعِقَابِ Kada/bi ali firAAawna wallatheenamin qablihim kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim wallahushadeedu alAAiqab Like the case of the house of Pharaoh and those before them: they denied Our proofs, so God seized them for their transgressions; and God is severe in retribution. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-11.md_ ## Verse 12 قُلْ لِلَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ اِلٰى جَهَنَّمَۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ Qul lillatheena kafaroo satughlaboonawatuhsharoona ila jahannama wabi/sa almihad Say thou to those who ignore warning: “You will be defeated, and gathered into Gehenna; and evil is the resting-place.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-12.md_ ## Verse 13 قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ اٰيَةٌ ف۪ي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَاۜ فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَاُخْرٰى كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُمْ مِثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِه۪ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِاُو۬لِي الْاَبْصَارِ Qad kana lakum ayatun feefi-atayni iltaqata fi-atun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahiwaokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim ra/yaalAAayni wallahu yu-ayyidu binasrihi manyashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absar There had been a proof for you in the two hosts which met: one host fighting in the cause of God, and another denying; they saw them as twice their like by the sight of the eye. But God strengthens with His help whom He wills; in that is a lesson for those of vision. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-13.md_ ## Verse 14 زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَٓاءِ وَالْبَن۪ينَ وَالْقَنَاط۪يرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْاَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِۜ ذٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۚ وَاللّٰهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَاٰبِ Zuyyina linnasi hubbuashshahawati mina annisa-i walbaneenawalqanateeri almuqantarati mina aththahabiwalfiddati walkhayli almusawwamati wal-anAAamiwalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayatiaddunya wallahu AAindahu husnualmaab Made fair for men is the love of lusts — for women, and sons, and amassed fortunes of gold and silver, and branded horses, and cattle, and tilth: that is the provision of the life of this world — but God, with Him is the best journey’s end. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-14.md_ ## Verse 15 قُلْ اَؤُ۬نَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكُمْۜ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَا وَاَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ بَص۪يرٌ بِالْعِبَادِۚ Qul aonabbi-okum bikhayrin min thalikumlillatheena ittaqaw AAinda rabbihim jannatun tajreemin tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feehawaazwajun mutahharatun waridwanunmina Allahi wallahu baseerun bilAAibad Say thou: “Shall I inform you of better than that? For those who are in prudent fear, with their Lord are gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein, and purified spouses, and approval from God”; and God sees the servants, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-15.md_ ## Verse 16 اَلَّذ۪ينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَٓا اِنَّـنَٓا اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِۚ Allatheena yaqooloona rabbanainnana amanna faghfir lana thunoobanawaqina AAathaba annar Those who say: “Our Lord: we believe, so forgive Thou us our transgressions, and protect Thou us from the punishment of the Fire,” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-16.md_ ## Verse 17 اَلصَّابِر۪ينَ وَالصَّادِق۪ينَ وَالْقَانِت۪ينَ وَالْمُنْفِق۪ينَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِر۪ينَ بِالْاَسْحَارِ Assabireena wassadiqeenawalqaniteena walmunfiqeena walmustaghfireenabil-ashar The patient, the truthful, the humbly obedient, those who spend, and the seekers of forgiveness at dawn. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-17.md_ ## Verse 18 شَهِدَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّهُ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ وَالْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَاُو۬لُوا الْعِلْمِ قَٓائِماً بِالْقِسْطِۜ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَز۪يزُ الْحَك۪يمُۜ Shahida Allahu annahu la ilahailla huwa walmala-ikatu waoloo alAAilmi qa-imanbilqisti la ilaha illa huwaalAAazeezu alhakeem God bears witness that there is no god save He, as do the angels and those of knowledge upholding equity: “There is no god save He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-18.md_ ## Verse 19 اِنَّ الدّ۪ينَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ الْاِسْلَامُ۠ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ اِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَٓاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْياً بَيْنَهُمْۜ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَر۪يعُ الْحِسَابِ Inna addeena AAinda Allahial-islamu wama ikhtalafa allatheena ootooalkitaba illa min baAAdi ma jaahumualAAilmu baghyan baynahum waman yakfur bi-ayati Allahifa-inna Allaha sareeAAu alhisab The doctrine with God is submission. And those given the Writ differed only after knowledge had come to them, through sectarian zealotry between them; and whoso denies the proofs of God — then is God swift in reckoning. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-19.md_ ## Verse 20 فَاِنْ حَٓاجُّوكَ فَقُلْ اَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلّٰهِ وَمَنِ اتَّـبَعَنِۜ وَقُلْ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْاُمِّيّ۪نَ ءَاَسْلَمْتُمْۜ فَاِنْ اَسْلَمُوا فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْاۚ وَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُۜ وَاللّٰهُ بَص۪يرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ۟ Fa-in hajjooka faqul aslamtu wajhiyalillahi wamani ittabaAAani waqul lillatheena ootooalkitaba walommiyyeena aaslamtum fa-inaslamoo faqadi ihtadaw wa-in tawallaw fa-innama AAalaykaalbalaghu wallahu baseerun bilAAibad And if they argue with thee, then say thou: “I have submitted my face to God, as have those who follow me.” And say thou to those given the Writ and to the unschooled: “Have you submitted?” And if they have submitted, then are they guided; but if they turn away, then upon thee is only the notification; and God sees the servants. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-20.md_ ## Verse 21 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيّ۪نَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۙ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الَّذ۪ينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِۙ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ اَل۪يمٍ Inna allatheena yakfuroona bi-ayatiAllahi wayaqtuloona annabiyyeena bighayri haqqinwayaqtuloona allatheena ya/muroona bilqistimina annasi fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleem Those who deny the proofs of God, and kill the prophets without cause, and kill those who enjoin equity among men: give thou them tidings of a painful punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-21.md_ ## Verse 22 اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ الَّذ۪ينَ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِۘ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِر۪ينَ Ola-ika allatheena habitataAAmaluhum fee addunya wal-akhiratiwama lahum min nasireen Those are they whose works are vain in the World and the Hereafter; and they have no helpers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-22.md_ ## Verse 23 اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا نَص۪يباً مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ اِلٰى كِتَابِ اللّٰهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلّٰى فَر۪يقٌ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ Alam tara ila allatheena ootoonaseeban mina alkitabi yudAAawna ila kitabiAllahi liyahkuma baynahum thumma yatawallafareequn minhum wahum muAAridoon Hast thou not considered those given a portion of the Writ? They are invited to the Writ of God, that it might judge between them, then a faction of them turns away; and they are averse, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-23.md_ ## Verse 24 ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّٓا اَيَّاماً مَعْدُودَاتٍۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ ف۪ي د۪ينِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ Thalika bi-annahum qaloo lantamassana annaru illa ayyamanmaAAdoodatin wagharrahum fee deenihim ma kanooyaftaroon For it is that they say: “The Fire will not touch us save days numbered,” and what they invented has deluded them in their doctrine! _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-24.md_ ## Verse 25 فَكَيْفَ اِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ ف۪يهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahumliyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin makasabat wahum la yuthlamoon Then how will it be when We gather them to a day about which there is no doubt and every soul is paid in full what it earned? And they will not be wronged. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-25.md_ ## Verse 26 قُلِ اللّٰهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَٓاءُۘ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُۜ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُۜ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ Quli allahumma malika almulkitu/tee almulka man tashao watanziAAu almulka mimman tashaowatuAAizzu man tashao watuthillu man tashaobiyadika alkhayru innaka AAala kulli shay-in qadeer Say thou: “O God, Master of Dominion: Thou givest dominion to whom Thou wilt, and Thou removest dominion from whom Thou wilt; Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is good; Thou art over all things powerful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-26.md_ ## Verse 27 تُولِجُ الَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي الَّيْلِۘ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّۘ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ Tooliju allayla fee annahariwatooliju annahara fee allayli watukhriju alhayyamina almayyiti watukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi watarzuquman tashao bighayri hisab “Thou makest the night enter into the day, and Thou makest the day enter into the night; and Thou bringest forth the living from the dead, and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living. And Thou givest provision to whom Thou wilt without reckoning.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-27.md_ ## Verse 28 لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ اَوْلِيَٓاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ف۪ي شَيْءٍ اِلَّٓا اَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقٰيةًۜ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسَهُۜ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ الْمَص۪يرُ La yattakhithi almu/minoonaalkafireena awliyaa min dooni almu/mineena wamanyafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shay-in illaan tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu wa-ila Allahi almaseer Let not the believers take as allies the false claimers of guidance rather than believers; and whoso does that is not of God in anything — save that you be in prudent fear of them, as a precaution. And God warns you of Himself; and to God is the journey’s end. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-28.md_ ## Verse 29 قُلْ اِنْ تُخْفُوا مَا ف۪ي صُدُورِكُمْ اَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللّٰهُۜ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ Qul in tukhfoo ma fee sudoorikumaw tubdoohu yaAAlamhu Allahu wayaAAlamu ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wallahu AAalakulli shay-in qadeer Say thou: “Whether you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, God knows it. And He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and God is over all things powerful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-29.md_ ## Verse 30 يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَراًۚۛ وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُٓوءٍۚۛ تَوَدُّ لَوْ اَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُٓ اَمَداً بَع۪يداًۜ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسَهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ رَؤُ۫فٌ بِالْعِبَادِ۟ Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilatmin khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min soo-intawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu wallahu raoofun bilAAibad “The day every soul will find what it did of good summoned, and what it did of evil, it will wish there were between it and that a great distance.” And God warns you of Himself; and God is kind to the servants. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-30.md_ ## Verse 31 قُلْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللّٰهَ فَاتَّبِعُون۪ي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ رَح۪يمٌ Qul in kuntum tuhibboona AllahafattabiAAoonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wayaghfirlakum thunoobakum wallahu ghafoorun raheem Say thou: “If you love God, follow me; God will love you, and forgive you your transgressions”; and God is forgiving and merciful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-31.md_ ## Verse 32 قُلْ اَط۪يعُوا اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُولَۚ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِر۪ينَ Qul ateeAAoo Allaha warrasoolafa-in tawallaw fa-inna Allaha la yuhibbu alkafireen Say thou: “Obey God and the Messenger.” Then if they turn away: God loves not the false claimers of guidance. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-32.md_ ## Verse 33 اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰٓى اٰدَمَ وَنُوحاً وَاٰلَ اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاٰلَ عِمْرٰنَ عَلَى الْعَالَم۪ينَۙ Inna Allaha istafa adamawanoohan waala ibraheema waala AAimranaAAala alAAalameen God chose Adam and Noah and the house of Abraham and the house of ʿImrān above all mankind: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-33.md_ ## Verse 34 ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍۜ وَاللّٰهُ سَم۪يعٌ عَل۪يمٌۚ Thurriyyatan baAAduhamin baAAdin wallahu sameeAAun AAaleem Descendants one of another; and God was hearing and knowing _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-34.md_ ## Verse 35 اِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَاَتُ عِمْرٰنَ رَبِّ اِنّ۪ي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا ف۪ي بَطْن۪ي مُحَرَّراً فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنّ۪يۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّم۪يعُ الْعَل۪يمُ Ith qalati imraatu AAimranarabbi innee nathartu laka ma fee batnee muharraranfataqabbal minnee innaka anta assameeAAu alAAaleem When the wife of ʿImrān said: “My Lord: I have vowed to Thee what is in my womb in consecration, so accept Thou from me; Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-35.md_ ## Verse 36 فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنّ۪ي وَضَعْتُهَٓا اُنْثٰىۜ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْۜ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْاُنْثٰىۚ وَاِنّ۪ي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَاِنّ۪ٓي اُع۪يذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّج۪يمِ Falamma wadaAAat-ha qalatrabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha wallahuaAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa aththakarukalontha wa-innee sammaytuha maryamawa-innee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyatahamina ashshaytani arrajeem Then when she had given birth to her, she said: “My Lord: I have given birth to a female,” — and God knew best to what she was to give birth; and the male is not like the female — “And I have named her Mary; and I seek refuge in Thee for her and her descendants from the accursed satan.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-36.md_ ## Verse 37 فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَاَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتاً حَسَناًۙ وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۜ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَۙ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقاًۚ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ اَنّٰى لَكِ هٰذَاۜ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ Fataqabbalaha rabbuhabiqaboolin hasanin waanbataha nabatan hasananwakaffalaha zakariyya kullama dakhalaAAalayha zakariyya almihraba wajadaAAindaha rizqan qala ya maryamu annalaki hatha qalat huwa min AAindi Allahi innaAllaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisab So her Lord accepted her with a comely acceptance, and caused her to grow with a comely growth, and placed her in the charge of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah entered upon her in the chamber, he found with her provision. He said: “O Mary: whence comes this to thee?” She said: “It is from God; God gives provision to whom He wills without reckoning.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-37.md_ ## Verse 38 هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُۚ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ ل۪ي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةًۚ اِنَّكَ سَم۪يعُ الدُّعَٓاءِ Hunalika daAAa zakariyyarabbahu qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatantayyibatan innaka sameeAAu adduAAa/- Thereupon Zachariah called to his Lord, saying: “My Lord: give Thou me from Thyself goodly progeny; Thou art the hearer of supplication.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-38.md_ ## Verse 39 فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَٓائِمٌ يُصَلّ۪ي فِي الْمِحْرَابِۙ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيٰى مُصَدِّقاً بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَسَيِّداً وَحَصُوراً وَنَبِياًّ مِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَ Fanadat-hu almala-ikatu wahuwaqa-imun yusallee fee almihrabi annaAllaha yubashshiruka biyahya musaddiqanbikalimatin mina Allahi wasayyidan wahasooranwanabiyyan mina assaliheen And the angels called to him as he stood performing the duty in the chamber: “God gives thee glad tidings of John, confirming a word from God, both honourable and chaste, and a prophet among the righteous.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-39.md_ ## Verse 40 قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُونُ ل۪ي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَاَت۪ي عَاقِرٌۜ قَالَ كَذٰلِكَ اللّٰهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَٓاءُ Qala rabbi anna yakoonu leeghulamun waqad balaghaniya alkibaru wamraatee AAaqirunqala kathalika Allahu yafAAalu mayasha/ Said he: “My Lord: how will I have a lad when old age has reached me and my wife is barren?” He said: “Thus is God; He does what He wills.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-40.md_ ## Verse 41 قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ ل۪ٓي اٰيَةًۜ قَالَ اٰيَتُكَ اَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَةَ اَيَّامٍ اِلَّا رَمْزاًۜ وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ كَث۪يراً وَسَبِّـحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْاِبْكَارِ۟ Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qalaayatuka alla tukallima annasa thalathataayyamin illa ramzan wathkur rabbakakatheeran wasabbih bilAAashiyyi wal-ibkar Said he: “My Lord: make Thou for me a proof.” He said: “Thy proof is that thou shalt not speak to men three days save by gestures. And remember thou thy Lord much, and give thou glory in the evening and the morning.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-41.md_ ## Verse 42 وَاِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰيكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفٰيكِ عَلٰى نِسَٓاءِ الْعَالَم۪ينَ Wa-ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha istafaki watahharakiwastafaki AAala nisa-i alAAalameen And when the angels said: “O Mary: God has chosen thee and purified thee, and chosen thee above the women of all mankind. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-42.md_ ## Verse 43 يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُت۪ي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُد۪ي وَارْكَع۪ي مَعَ الرَّاكِع۪ينَ Ya maryamu oqnutee lirabbiki wasjudeewarkaAAee maAAa arrakiAAeen “O Mary: be thou humbly obedient to thy Lord, and submit thou, and be thou lowly with the lowly.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-43.md_ ## Verse 44 ذٰلِكَ مِنْ اَنْـبَٓاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوح۪يهِ اِلَيْكَۜ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ اِذْ يُلْقُونَ اَقْلَامَهُمْ اَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَۖ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ اِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ Thalika min anba-i alghaybinooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ithyulqoona aqlamahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wamakunta ladayhim ith yakhtasimoon That is from the reports of the Unseen which We reveal to thee. And thou wast not with them when they cast their lots for who should have charge of Mary. And thou wast not with them when they disputed. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-44.md_ ## Verse 45 اِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُۗ اِسْمُهُ الْمَس۪يحُ ع۪يسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَج۪يهاً فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّب۪ينَۙ Ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatinminhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehanfee addunya wal-akhirati waminaalmuqarrabeen When the angels said: “O Mary: God gives thee glad tidings of a word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary; esteemed in the World and the Hereafter, and among those brought near. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-45.md_ ## Verse 46 وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً وَمِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَ Wayukallimu annasa feealmahdi wakahlan wamina assaliheen “He will speak to men in the cradle, and in maturity, and is among the righteous.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-46.md_ ## Verse 47 قَالَتْ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُونُ ل۪ي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْن۪ي بَشَرٌۜ قَالَ كَذٰلِكِ اللّٰهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَٓاءُۜ اِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمْراً فَاِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoon She said: “My Lord: how will I have a son when no mortal has touched me?” He said: “Thus is God; he creates what He wills; when He decrees a matter, He but says to it: ‘Be thou,’ and it is. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-47.md_ ## Verse 48 وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرٰيةَ وَالْاِنْج۪يلَۚ WayuAAallimuhu alkitaba walhikmatawattawrata wal-injeel “And He will teach him the Writ and wisdom, and the Torah, and the Gospel.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-48.md_ ## Verse 49 وَرَسُولاً اِلٰى بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ اَنّ۪ي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِاٰيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْۙ اَنّ۪ٓي اَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطّ۪ينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ الطَّيْرِ فَاَنْفُخُ ف۪يهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْراً بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ وَاُبْرِئُ الْاَكْمَهَ وَالْاَبْرَصَ وَاُحْـيِ الْمَوْتٰى بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ وَاُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَۙ ف۪ي بُيُوتِكُمْۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِن۪ينَۚ Warasoolan ila banee isra-eelaannee qad ji/tukum bi-ayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqulakum mina atteeni kahay-ati attayrifaanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran bi-ithni Allahiwaobri-o al-akmaha wal-abrasa waohyeealmawta bi-ithni Allahi waonabbi-okum bimata/kuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalikalaayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineen And as a messenger to the children of Israel: “I have come to you with a proof from your Lord, that I create for you from clay the likeness of a bird; then I blow into it and it becomes a bird by the leave of God. And I heal the blind, and the leper, and give life to the dead by the leave of God. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses — in that is a proof for you if you be believers — _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-49.md_ ## Verse 50 وَمُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرٰيةِ وَلِاُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذ۪ي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِاٰيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَط۪يعُونِ Wamusaddiqan lima baynayadayya mina attawrati wali-ohilla lakumbaAAda allathee hurrima AAalaykum waji/tukumbi-ayatin min rabbikum fattaqoo Allaha waateeAAoon “And confirming what is before me of the Torah, and making lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. I have come to you with a proof from your Lord, so be in prudent fear of God, and obey me. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-50.md_ ## Verse 51 اِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبّ۪ي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُۜ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَق۪يمٌ Inna Allaha rabbee warabbukum faAAbudoohuhatha siratun mustaqeem “God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him. This is a straight path.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-51.md_ ## Verse 52 فَلَمَّٓا اَحَسَّ ع۪يسٰى مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ قَالَ مَنْ اَنْصَار۪ٓي اِلَى اللّٰهِۜ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ اَنْصَارُ اللّٰهِۚ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِۚ وَاشْهَدْ بِاَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ Falamma ahassa AAeesaminhumu alkufra qala man ansaree ila Allahiqala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaruAllahi amanna billahi washhadbi-anna muslimoon But when Jesus perceived their denial, he said: “Who are my helpers for God?” The disciples said: “We are the helpers of God; we believe in God; and bear thou witness that we are submitting.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-52.md_ ## Verse 53 رَبَّنَٓا اٰمَنَّا بِمَٓا اَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِد۪ينَ Rabbana amanna bimaanzalta wattabaAAna arrasoola faktubnamaAAa ashshahideen “Our Lord: we believe in what Thou hast sent down, and we follow the Messenger, so write Thou us down with the witnesses.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-53.md_ ## Verse 54 وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللّٰهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِر۪ينَ۟ Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu wallahukhayru almakireen And they schemed, and God schemed; and God is the best of schemers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-54.md_ ## Verse 55 اِذْ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يَا ع۪يسٰٓى اِنّ۪ي مُتَوَفّ۪يكَ وَرَافِعُكَ اِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذ۪ينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِۚ ثُمَّ اِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَاَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ ف۪يمَا كُنْتُمْ ف۪يهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ Ith qala Allahu yaAAeesa innee mutawaffeeka warafiAAuka ilayya wamutahhirukamina allatheena kafaroo wajaAAilu allatheenaittabaAAooka fawqa allatheena kafaroo ila yawmialqiyamati thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faahkumubaynakum feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoon When God said: “O Jesus: I will take thee and raise thee to Me, and purify thee of those who ignore warning, and place those who follow thee above those who ignore warning until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differed. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-55.md_ ## Verse 56 فَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا فَاُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَاباً شَد۪يداً فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِۘ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِر۪ينَ Faamma allatheena kafaroofaoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee addunyawal-akhirati wama lahum min nasireen “And as for those who ignore warning: I will punish them with a severe punishment in the World and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-56.md_ ## Verse 57 وَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفّ۪يهِمْ اُجُورَهُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِم۪ينَ Waamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati fayuwaffeehimojoorahum wallahu la yuhibbu aththalimeen And as for those who heed warning and do righteous deeds: He will give them their rewards in full; but God loves not the wrongdoers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-57.md_ ## Verse 58 ذٰلِكَ نَتْلُوهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْاٰيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَك۪يمِ Thalika natloohu AAalayka mina al-ayatiwaththikri alhakeem That do We recite to thee of the proofs and the wise remembrance. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-58.md_ ## Verse 59 اِنَّ مَثَلَ ع۪يسٰى عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِ اٰدَمَۜ خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ Inna mathala AAeesa AAinda Allahikamathali adama khalaqahu min turabin thumma qalalahu kun fayakoon The likeness of Jesus in the sight of God is as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust; then He said to him: “Be thou,” and he was. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-59.md_ ## Verse 60 اَلْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُمْتَر۪ينَ Alhaqqu min rabbika fala takunmina almumtareen The truth is from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-60.md_ ## Verse 61 فَمَنْ حَٓاجَّكَ ف۪يهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَٓاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ اَبْنَٓاءَنَا وَاَبْنَٓاءَكُمْ وَنِسَٓاءَنَا وَنِسَٓاءَكُمْ وَاَنْفُسَنَا وَاَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِب۪ينَ Faman hajjaka feehi min baAAdi majaaka mina alAAilmi faqul taAAalaw nadAAu abnaanawaabnaakum wanisaana wanisaakumwaanfusana waanfusakum thumma nabtahil fanajAAal laAAnataAllahi AAala alkathibeen And whoso disputes with thee concerning him after the knowledge which has come to thee, say thou: “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; then let us pray in earnest and invoke the curse of God upon the liars: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-61.md_ ## Verse 62 اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْقَصَصُ الْحَقُّۚ وَمَا مِنْ اِلٰهٍ اِلَّا اللّٰهُۜ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهُوَ الْعَز۪يزُ الْحَك۪يمُ Inna hatha lahuwa alqasasualhaqqu wama min ilahin illa Allahuwa-inna Allaha lahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem “‘This is the true story! And there is no god save God! And God, he is the Exalted in Might, the Wise!’” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-62.md_ ## Verse 63 فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَل۪يمٌ بِالْمُفْسِد۪ينَ۟ Fa-in tawallaw fa-inna AllahaAAaleemun bilmufsideen And if they turn away, God knows the workers of corruption. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-63.md_ ## Verse 64 قُلْ يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا اِلٰى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَٓاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ اَلَّا نَعْبُدَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِه۪ شَيْـٔاً وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً اَرْبَاباً مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۜ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُولُوا اشْهَدُوا بِاَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalawila kalimatin sawa-in baynana wabaynakum allanaAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihishay-an wala yattakhitha baAAdunabaAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fa-intawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bi-anna muslimoon Say thou: “O doctors of the Law: come to an equitable word between us and you: that we serve not save God; and that we ascribe not partnership to Him; and that none of us takes others as lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say you: “Bear witness that we are submitting.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-64.md_ ## Verse 65 يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَٓاجُّونَ ف۪ٓي اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرٰيةُ وَالْاِنْج۪يلُ اِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ۜ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoonafee ibraheema wama onzilati attawratuwal-injeelu illa min baAAdihi afalataAAqiloon O doctors of the Law: why dispute you about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were sent down only after him? Will you then not use reason! _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-65.md_ ## Verse 66 هَٓا اَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ ف۪يمَا لَكُمْ بِه۪ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَٓاجُّونَ ف۪يمَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِه۪ عِلْمٌۜ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ وَاَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ Ha antum haola-i hajajtumfeema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feemalaysa lakum bihi AAilmun wallahu yaAAlamu waantumla taAAlamoon Here you are: those who have disputed about that whereof you have knowledge; why then dispute you about that whereof you have no knowledge? And God knows, and you know not. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-66.md_ ## Verse 67 مَا كَانَ اِبْرٰه۪يمُ يَهُودِياًّ وَلَا نَصْرَانِياًّ وَلٰكِنْ كَانَ حَن۪يفاً مُسْلِماًۜ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِك۪ينَ Ma kana ibraheemuyahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakinkana haneefan musliman wama kana minaalmushrikeen Abraham was neither one who holds to Judaism, nor a Christian, but was inclining to truth as one submitting; and he was not of the idolaters. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-67.md_ ## Verse 68 اِنَّ اَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِاِبْرٰه۪يمَ لَلَّذ۪ينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهٰذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُواۜ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ Inna awla annasibi-ibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahathaannabiyyu wallatheena amanoo wallahuwaliyyu almu/mineen The people closest to Abraham are those who have followed him, as have this prophet and those who heed warning; and God is the ally of the believers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-68.md_ ## Verse 69 وَدَّتْ طَٓائِفَةٌ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْۜ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ اِلَّٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ Waddat ta-ifatun min ahli alkitabilaw yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illaanfusahum wama yashAAuroon A number of the doctors of the Law would love to lead you astray; and they lead astray only themselves, and they perceive not. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-69.md_ ## Verse 70 يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ Ya ahla alkitabi limatakfuroona bi-ayati Allahi waantumtashhadoon O doctors of the Law: why deny you the proofs of God, when you are bearing witness? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-70.md_ ## Verse 71 يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَاَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ۟ Ya ahla alkitabi limatalbisoona alhaqqa bilbatili wataktumoonaalhaqqa waantum taAAlamoon O doctors of the Law: why clothe you the truth in vanity and conceal the truth, when you know? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-71.md_ ## Verse 72 وَقَالَتْ طَٓائِفَةٌ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ اٰمِنُوا بِالَّـذ۪ٓي اُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُٓوا اٰخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَۚ Waqalat ta-ifatun min ahlialkitabi aminoo billathee onzilaAAala allatheena amanoo wajha annahariwakfuroo akhirahu laAAallahum yarjiAAoon And a number of the doctors of the Law say: “Believe in what was sent down upon those who heed warning at the beginning of the day, and deny at the end thereof, that they might return. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-72.md_ ## Verse 73 وَلَا تُؤْمِنُٓوا اِلَّا لِمَنْ تَبِـعَ د۪ينَكُمْۜ قُلْ اِنَّ الْهُدٰى هُدَى اللّٰهِۙ اَنْ يُؤْتٰٓى اَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَٓا اُو۫ت۪يتُمْ اَوْ يُحَٓاجُّوكُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْۜ قُلْ اِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللّٰهِۚ يُؤْت۪يهِ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَل۪يمٌۚ Wala tu/minoo illa limantabiAAa deenakum qul inna alhuda huda Allahian yu/ta ahadun mithla ma ooteetum aw yuhajjookumAAinda rabbikum qul inna alfadla biyadi Allahiyu/teehi man yashao wallahu wasiAAunAAaleem “And believe not save him who follows your doctrine.” Say thou: “Guidance is the guidance of God, that one be given the like of what you have been given.” Or would they argue with you before your Lord? Say thou: “Bounty is in the hand of God, He gives it to whom He wills.” And God is encompassing and knowing, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-73.md_ ## Verse 74 يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِه۪ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوالْفَضْلِ الْعَظ۪يمِ Yakhtassu birahmatihi man yashaowallahu thoo alfadli alAAatheem He chooses for His mercy whom He wills; and God is possessor of tremendous bounty. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-74.md_ ## Verse 75 وَمِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مَنْ اِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِقِنْطَارٍ يُؤَدِّه۪ٓ اِلَيْكَۚ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ اِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِد۪ينَارٍ لَا يُؤَدِّه۪ٓ اِلَيْكَ اِلَّا مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَٓائِماًۜ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْاُمِّيّ۪نَ سَب۪يلٌۚ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ Wamin ahli alkitabi man in ta/manhubiqintarin yu-addihi ilayka waminhum man in ta/manhubideenarin la yu-addihi ilayka illa madumta AAalayhi qa-iman thalika bi-annahum qaloolaysa AAalayna fee al-ommiyyeena sabeelun wayaqooloonaAAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoon And among the doctors of the Law is he who, if thou entrust him with a fortune, will deliver it to thee. And among them is he who, if thou entrust him with a dinar, will not return it to thee unless thou stand over him. For it is that they say: “We owe nothing to the unschooled”; and they ascribe the lie to God, when they know! _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-75.md_ ## Verse 76 بَلٰى مَنْ اَوْفٰى بِعَهْدِه۪ وَاتَّقٰى فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّق۪ينَ Bala man awfa biAAahdihi wattaqafa-inna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeen Verily, whoso fulfils his covenant and is in prudent fear: God loves those of prudent fear. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-76.md_ ## Verse 77 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللّٰهِ وَاَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَناً قَل۪يلاً اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ اِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكّ۪يهِمْۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ Inna allatheena yashtaroona biAAahdiAllahi waaymanihim thamanan qaleelan ola-ikala khalaqa lahum fee al-akhirati walayukallimuhumu Allahu wala yanthuruilayhim yawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahumAAathabun aleem Those who sell the covenant of God and their oaths at a cheap price: those have no portion in the Hereafter; and God will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He increase them in purity. And they have a painful punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-77.md_ ## Verse 78 وَاِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَر۪يقاً يَلْوُ۫نَ اَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِۚ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۚ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ Wa-inna minhum lafareeqan yalwoonaalsinatahum bilkitabi litahsaboohu minaalkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabiwayaqooloona huwa min AAindi Allahi wama huwa minAAindi Allahi wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathibawahum yaAAlamoon And among them a faction distorts the Writ with their tongues, that you might think it from the Writ, but it is not from the Writ. And they say: “It is from God,” but it is not from God. And they ascribe the lie to God, when they know. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-78.md_ ## Verse 79 مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ اَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّٰهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُوا عِبَاداً ل۪ي مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنْ كُونُوا رَبَّانِيّ۪نَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَۙ Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba walhukmawannubuwwata thumma yaqoola linnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoon It is not for a mortal that God should give him the Writ and judgment and prophethood, then he should say to men: “Be servants to me rather than God”; but: “Be men of God by what you have taught of the Writ, and by what you have studied.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-79.md_ ## Verse 80 وَلَا يَأْمُرَكُمْ اَنْ تَتَّخِذُوا الْمَلٰٓئِكَةَ وَالنَّبِيّ۪نَ اَرْبَاباًۜ اَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ اِذْ اَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ۟ Wala ya/murakum an tattakhithooalmala-ikata wannabiyyeena arbabanaya/murukum bilkufri baAAda ith antum muslimoon And nor would he command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords; would he command you to denial after you have been submitting? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-80.md_ ## Verse 81 وَاِذْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ م۪يثَاقَ النَّبِيّ۪نَ لَـمَٓا اٰتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَٓاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِه۪ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُۜ قَالَ ءَاَقْرَرْتُمْ وَاَخَذْتُمْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكُمْ اِصْر۪يۜ قَالُٓوا اَقْرَرْنَاۜ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَاَنَا۬ مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِد۪ينَ Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa annabiyyeena lama ataytukummin kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakumrasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latu/minunna bihiwalatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtumAAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarnaqala fashhadoo waana maAAakum mina ashshahideen And when God took agreement of the prophets: “What I give you of Writ and wisdom, then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you: you shall believe in him and help him.” He said: “Do you affirm and take upon that My covenant?” Said they: “We do affirm.” He said: “Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-81.md_ ## Verse 82 فَمَنْ تَوَلّٰى بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ Faman tawalla baAAda thalikafaola-ika humu alfasiqoon Then whoso turns away after this, it is they who are the perfidious. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-82.md_ ## Verse 83 اَفَغَيْرَ د۪ينِ اللّٰهِ يَبْغُونَ وَلَهُٓ اَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ طَوْعاً وَكَرْهاً وَاِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ Afaghayra deeni Allahi yabghoonawalahu aslama man fee assamawati wal-arditawAAan wakarhan wa-ilayhi yurjaAAoon Is it then other than the doctrine of God they seek, when to Him has submitted whoso is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-83.md_ ## Verse 84 قُلْ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَ عَلٰٓى اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاِسْمٰع۪يلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطِ وَمَٓا اُو۫تِيَ مُوسٰى وَع۪يسٰى وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْۖ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْۘ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ Qul amanna billahiwama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAalaibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqawayaAAqooba wal-asbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa wannabiyyoona min rabbihim lanufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahumuslimoon Say thou: “We believe in God, and what has been sent down upon us, and what was sent down upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, and Jacob and the Grandsons; and what was given to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no division between any of them, and to Him we are submitting.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-84.md_ ## Verse 85 وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْاِسْلَامِ د۪يناً فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُۚ وَهُوَ فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِر۪ينَ Waman yabtaghi ghayra al-islamideenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee al-akhirati minaalkhasireen And whoso seeks a doctrine other than submission, it will not be accepted from him; and he in the Hereafter will be among the losers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-85.md_ ## Verse 86 كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللّٰهُ قَوْماً كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ ا۪يمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُٓوا اَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَٓاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِم۪ينَ Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroobaAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna arrasoola haqqunwajaahumu albayyinatu wallahu layahdee alqawma aththalimeen How will God guide a people who denied after their faith, and had borne witness that the Messenger is true, and clear signs had come to them? And God guides not the wrongdoing people. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-86.md_ ## Verse 87 اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ جَزَٓاؤُ۬هُمْ اَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللّٰهِ وَالْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجْمَع۪ينَۙ Ola-ika jazaohum annaAAalayhim laAAnata Allahi walmala-ikati wannasiajmaAAeen Those: their reward is that upon them is the curse of God and of angels and of men all together, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-87.md_ ## Verse 88 خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَاۚ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَۙ Khalideena feeha layukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoon They abiding eternally therein; the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be granted respite _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-88.md_ ## Verse 89 اِلَّا الَّذ۪ينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ وَاَصْلَحُوا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ رَح۪يمٌ Illa allatheena taboomin baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fa-inna Allahaghafoorun raheem Save those who repent after that, and make right; and God is forgiving and merciful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-89.md_ ## Verse 90 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ ا۪يمَانِهِمْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْراً لَنْ تُقْبَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْۚ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الضَّٓالُّونَ Inna allatheena kafaroo baAAda eemanihimthumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waola-ikahumu addalloon Those who ignore warning after their faith, then grow in denial, their repentance will not be accepted; and it is they who are those who go astray. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-90.md_ ## Verse 91 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْ اَحَدِهِمْ مِلْءُ الْاَرْضِ ذَهَباً وَلَوِ افْتَدٰى بِه۪ۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِر۪ينَ۟ Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim miloal-ardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireen Those who ignore warning and die as atheists: there would not be accepted from one of them the earth full of gold were he to seek to ransom himself thereby; those have a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-91.md_ ## Verse 92 لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتّٰى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَۜ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِه۪ عَل۪يمٌ Lan tanaloo albirra hattatunfiqoo mimma tuhibboona wama tunfiqoo minshay-in fa-inna Allaha bihi AAaleem You attain not to virtue until you spend of what you love; and what you spend of anything, God knows it. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-92.md_ ## Verse 93 كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلاًّ لِبَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ اِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ اِسْرَٓائ۪لُ عَلٰى نَفْسِه۪ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرٰيةُۜ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرٰيةِ فَاتْلُوهَٓا اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِق۪ينَ Kullu attaAAami kanahillan libanee isra-eela illa ma harramaisra-eelu AAala nafsihi min qabli an tunazzala attawratuqul fa/too bittawrati fatlooha inkuntum sadiqeen All food was lawful to the children of Israel save what Israel made unlawful upon himself before the Torah was sent down. Say thou: “Bring the Torah and recite it, if you be truthful.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-93.md_ ## Verse 94 فَمَنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ Famani iftara AAala Allahialkathiba min baAAdi thalika faola-ika humuathalimoon And whoso invents a lie about God after that, it is they who are the wrongdoers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-94.md_ ## Verse 95 قُلْ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰه۪يمَ حَن۪يفاًۜ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِك۪ينَ Qul sadaqa Allahu fattabiAAoomillata ibraheema haneefan wama kanamina almushrikeen Say thou: “God spoke truly; so follow the creed of Abraham, inclining to truth; and he was not of the idolaters.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-95.md_ ## Verse 96 اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذ۪ي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكاً وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَم۪ينَۚ Inna awwala baytin wudiAAa linnasilallathee bibakkata mubarakan wahudan lilAAalameen (The first house set up for mankind was that at Bakka, blessed and a guidance for all mankind: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-96.md_ ## Verse 97 ف۪يهِ اٰيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ مَقَامُ اِبْرٰه۪يمَۚ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ اٰمِناًۜ وَلِلّٰهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ اِلَيْهِ سَب۪يلاًۜ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَم۪ينَ Feehi ayatun bayyinatunmaqamu ibraheema waman dakhalahu kana aminanwalillahi AAala annasi hijjualbayti mani istataAAa ilayhi sabeelan waman kafarafa-inna Allaha ghaniyyun AAani alAAalameen In it are clear proofs of the station of Abraham; and whoso enters it is safe. And God’s claim upon mankind is a pilgrimage to the house, for whoso is able to find a path to it; and whoso denies: God is free from need of all mankind.) _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-97.md_ ## Verse 98 قُلْ يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِۗ وَاللّٰهُ شَه۪يدٌ عَلٰى مَا تَعْمَلُونَ Qul ya ahla alkitabi limatakfuroona bi-ayati Allahi wallahushaheedun AAala ma taAAmaloon Say thou: “O doctors of the Law: why deny you the proofs of God when God is witness to what you do?” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-98.md_ ## Verse 99 قُلْ يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجاً وَاَنْتُمْ شُهَدَٓاءُۜ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Qul ya ahla alkitabi lima tasuddoonaAAan sabeeli Allahi man amana tabghoonahaAAiwajan waantum shuhadao wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloon Say thou: “O doctors of the Law: why turn you away from the path of God him who believes, seeking its deviation when you are witnesses? And God is not unmindful of what you do.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-99.md_ ## Verse 100 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِنْ تُط۪يعُوا فَر۪يقاً مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ ا۪يمَانِكُمْ كَافِر۪ينَ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin tuteeAAoo fareeqan mina allatheena ootoo alkitabayaruddookum baAAda eemanikum kafireen O you who heed warning: if you obey a faction among those given the Writ, they will drive you back, after your faith, as false claimers of guidance. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-100.md_ ## Verse 101 وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَاَنْتُمْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيَاتُ اللّٰهِ وَف۪يكُمْ رَسُولُهُۜ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَق۪يمٍ۟ Wakayfa takfuroona waantum tutlaAAalaykum ayatu Allahi wafeekum rasooluhuwaman yaAAtasim billahi faqad hudiya ilasiratin mustaqeem And how can you deny, when to you are the proofs of God recited, and in your midst is His messenger? And whoso holds fast to God, he has been guided to a straight path. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-101.md_ ## Verse 102 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِه۪ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooittaqoo Allaha haqqa tuqatihi walatamootunna illa waantum muslimoon O you who heed warning: be in prudent fear of God with the prudent fear due Him, and die not save that you be submitting. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-102.md_ ## Verse 103 وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللّٰهِ جَم۪يعاً وَلَا تَفَرَّقُواۖ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ كُنْتُمْ اَعْدَٓاءً فَاَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَاَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِه۪ٓ اِخْوَاناًۚ وَكُنْتُمْ عَلٰى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَاَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَاۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ WaAAtasimoo bihabliAllahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo wathkurooniAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaanfaallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihiikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratinmina annari faanqathakum minha kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakumtahtadoon And hold fast to the rope of God all together, and be not divided. And remember the favour of God upon you: when you were enemies, He united your hearts so that by His favour you became brethren; and you were upon the edge of a pit of fire, and He rescued you from it. Thus does God make plain to you His proofs, that you might be guided. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-103.md_ ## Verse 104 وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ اُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ اِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ilaalkhayri waya/muroona bilmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAanialmunkari waola-ika humu almuflihoon And let there be from you a community inviting to good, and enjoining what is fitting, and forbidding perversity; and it is they who are the successful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-104.md_ ## Verse 105 وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذ۪ينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَٓاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظ۪يمٌۙ Wala takoonoo kallatheenatafarraqoo wakhtalafoo min baAAdi ma jaahumualbayyinatu waola-ika lahum AAathabun AAatheem And be not like those who became divided, and disputed after the clear signs had came to them; and it is they who have a great punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-105.md_ ## Verse 106 يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌۚ فَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ۠ اَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ ا۪يمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ Yawma tabyaddu wujoohun wataswadduwujoohun faamma allatheena iswaddat wujoohuhumakafartum baAAda eemanikum fathooqoo alAAathababima kuntum takfuroon The day faces will be white, and faces will be black: as for those whose faces will be black: ­— “Did you deny after your faith? Then taste the punishment for what you denied!” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-106.md_ ## Verse 107 وَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَف۪ي رَحْمَةِ اللّٰهِۜ هُمْ ف۪يهَا خَالِدُونَ Waamma allatheena ibyaddatwujoohuhum fafee rahmati Allahi hum feeha khalidoon And as for those whose faces will be white: ­— in the mercy of God; therein they abide eternally. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-107.md_ ## Verse 108 تِلْكَ اٰيَاتُ اللّٰهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّۜ وَمَا اللّٰهُ يُر۪يدُ ظُلْماً لِلْعَالَم۪ينَ Tilka ayatu Allahinatlooha AAalayka bilhaqqi wama Allahuyureedu thulman lilAAalameen Those are the proofs of God; We recite them to thee in truth; and God desires not injustice for all mankind. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-108.md_ ## Verse 109 وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُورُ۟ Walillahi ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wa-ila AllahiturjaAAu al-omoor And to God belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and to God are matters returned. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-109.md_ ## Verse 110 كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ اُمَّةٍ اُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِۜ وَلَوْ اٰمَنَ اَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْراً لَهُمْۜ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَاَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat linnasita/muroona bilmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkariwatu/minoona billahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabilakana khayran lahum minhumu almu/minoona waaktharuhumualfasiqoon You are the best community brought forth for mankind: you enjoin what is fitting, and you forbid perversity, and you believe in God. And had the doctors of the Law believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are perfidious. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-110.md_ ## Verse 111 لَنْ يَضُرُّوكُمْ اِلَّٓا اَذًىۜ وَاِنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْاَدْبَارَ۠ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ Lan yadurrookum illa athanwa-in yuqatilookum yuwallookumu al-adbara thumma layunsaroon They will not cause you harm save hindrance; and if they fight you, they will turn to you their backs; then will they not be helped. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-111.md_ ## Verse 112 ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ اَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُٓوا اِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَبَٓاؤُ۫ بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُۜ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْاَنْبِيَٓاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۜ ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ۠ Duribat AAalayhimu aththillatuayna ma thuqifoo illa bihablin mina Allahiwahablin mina annasi wabaoo bighadabinmina Allahi waduribat AAalayhimu almaskanatu thalikabi-annahum kanoo yakfuroona bi-ayati Allahiwayaqtuloona al-anbiyaa bighayri haqqin thalikabima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoon Pitched upon them will be ignominy wherever they are found save for a rope from God and a rope from men. And they will incur wrath from God, and wretchedness will be pitched upon them, for it is that they denied the proofs of God! And they killed the prophets without cause, for it is that they opposed and exceeded all bounds! _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-112.md_ ## Verse 113 لَيْسُوا سَوَٓاءًۜ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ اُمَّةٌ قَٓائِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ اٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ اٰنَٓاءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ۠ Laysoo sawaan min ahli alkitabiommatun qa-imatun yatloona ayati Allahianaa allayli wahum yasjudoon They are not the same; among the doctors of the Law is an upright community: they recite the proofs of God in watches of the night, and they submit; _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-113.md_ ## Verse 114 يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَ Yu/minoona billahi walyawmial-akhiri waya/muroona bilmaAAroofi wayanhawnaAAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waola-ikamina assaliheen They believe in God and the Last Day, and enjoin what is fitting, and forbid perversity, and compete in good deeds; and those are among the righteous. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-114.md_ ## Verse 115 وَمَا يَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ يُكْفَرُوهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ بِالْمُتَّق۪ينَ Wama yafAAaloo min khayrin falanyukfaroohu wallahu AAaleemun bilmuttaqeen And what they do of good, they will not be denied it; and God knows those of prudent fear. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-115.md_ ## Verse 116 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَٓا اَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اَصْحَابُ النَّارِۚ هُمْ ف۪يهَا خَالِدُونَ Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniyaAAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahishay-an waola-ika as-habu annarihum feeha khalidoon Those who ignore warning: neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against God. And those are the companions of the Fire; therein they abide eternally. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-116.md_ ## Verse 117 مَثَلُ مَا يُنْفِقُونَ ف۪ي هٰذِهِ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ ر۪يحٍ ف۪يهَا صِرٌّ اَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُٓوا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فَاَهْلَكَتْهُۜ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَلٰكِنْ اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihialhayati addunya kamathali reehinfeeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamooanfusahum faahlakat-hu wama thalamahumu Allahuwalakin anfusahum yathlimoon The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as the likeness of a wind wherein was biting cold: it befell the tilth of a people who wronged their souls and destroyed it; and God wronged them not, but they wronged themselves. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-117.md_ ## Verse 118 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِنْ دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاًۜ وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْۚ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَٓاءُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْۚ وَمَا تُخْف۪ي صُدُورُهُمْ اَكْـبَرُۜ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْاٰيَاتِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum laya/loonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badatialbaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhumakbaru qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati inkuntum taAAqiloon O you who heed warning: take not as intimates other than your own; they will not spare you ruin. They would that you should suffer. Hatred has already become clear from their mouths, and what their breasts hide is greater. We have made plain the proofs to you, if you will use reason. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-118.md_ ## Verse 119 هَٓا اَنْتُمْ اُو۬لَٓاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّه۪ۚ وَاِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُٓوا اٰمَنَّاۗ وَاِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الْاَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِۜ قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَل۪يمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ Ha antum ola-i tuhibboonahumwala yuhibboonakum watu/minoona bilkitabikullihi wa-itha laqookum qaloo amannawa-itha khalaw AAaddoo AAalaykumu al-anamilamina alghaythi qul mootoo bighaythikuminna Allaha AAaleemun bithati assudoor Here you are, those who love them; and they love you not, when you believe in the Writ — all of it. And when they meet you, they say: “We believe,” but when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you from rage. Say thou: “Die in your rage, God knows what is in the breasts.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-119.md_ ## Verse 120 اِنْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْۘ وَاِنْ تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا بِهَاۜ وَاِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـٔاًۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُح۪يطٌ۟ In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo bihawa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukumkayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheet If good touches you, it vexes them; and if evil befalls you, they exult thereat. But if you are patient and in prudent fear, their plan will not harm you at all; God encompasses what they do. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-120.md_ ## Verse 121 وَاِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ اَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِۜ وَاللّٰهُ سَم۪يعٌ عَل۪يمٌۙ Wa-ith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwi-oalmu/mineena maqaAAida lilqitali wallahusameeAAun AAaleem And when thou didst leave thy household early to assign the believers their stations for the battle; and God was hearing and knowing _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-121.md_ ## Verse 122 اِذْ هَمَّتْ طَٓائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ اَنْ تَفْشَلَاۙ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِيُّهُمَاۜ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ Ith hammat ta-ifataniminkum an tafshala wallahu waliyyuhumawaAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoon When two groups among you were about to lose heart, but God was their ally; and in God let the believers place their trust. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-122.md_ ## Verse 123 وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَاَنْتُمْ اَذِلَّةٌۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ Walaqad nasarakumu Allahubibadrin waantum athillatun fattaqoo AllahalaAAallakum tashkuroon (And God had already helped you at Badr, when you were despised. Then be in prudent fear of God, that you might be grateful.) _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-123.md_ ## Verse 124 اِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ اَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ اَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلٰثَةِ اٰلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ مُنْزَل۪ينَۜ Ith taqoolu lilmu/mineena alanyakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bithalathati alafinmina almala-ikati munzaleen When thou saidst to the believers: “Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should supply you with three thousand angels sent down? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-124.md_ ## Verse 125 بَلٰٓىۙ اِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ اٰلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ مُسَوِّم۪ينَ Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoowaya/tookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukumbikhamsati alafin mina almala-ikatimusawwimeen “Verily, if you are patient and in prudent fear, and they rush upon you of a sudden, your Lord will supply you with five thousand angels having marks,” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-125.md_ ## Verse 126 وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بُشْرٰى لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُمْ بِه۪ۜ وَمَا النَّصْرُ اِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ الْعَز۪يزِ الْحَك۪يمِۙ Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illabushra lakum walitatma-inna quloobukum bihi wamaannasru illa min AAindi AllahialAAazeezi alhakeem (And God made it not save as glad tidings for you, and that your hearts might be reassured thereby; and there is no help save from God, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.) _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-126.md_ ## Verse 127 لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفاً مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوا خَٓائِب۪ينَ LiyaqtaAAa tarafan mina allatheenakafaroo aw yakbitahum fayanqaliboo kha-ibeen “That He might cut off a part of those who ignore warning, or suppress them so they turn back disappointed.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-127.md_ ## Verse 128 لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ شَيْءٌ اَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ اَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَاِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ Laysa laka mina al-amri shay-on aw yatoobaAAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fa-innahum thalimoon No part of the matter is thine, whether He turns towards them or punishes them, for they are wrongdoers, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-128.md_ ## Verse 129 وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَٓاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ رَح۪يمٌ۟ Walillahi ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi yaghfiru liman yashaowayuAAaththibu man yashao wallahughafoorun raheem And to God belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. He forgives whom He wills, and punishes whom He wills; and God is forgiving and merciful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-129.md_ ## Verse 130 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبٰٓوا اَضْعَافاً مُضَاعَفَةًۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَۚ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola ta/kuloo arriba adAAafanmudaAAafatan wattaqoo Allaha laAAallakumtuflihoon O you who heed warning: consume not usury, doubled and redoubled; and be in prudent fear of God, that you might be successful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-130.md_ ## Verse 131 وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّت۪ٓي اُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِر۪ينَۚ Wattaqoo annaraallatee oAAiddat lilkafireen And be in prudent fear of the Fire prepared for the false claimers of guidance. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-131.md_ ## Verse 132 وَاَط۪يعُوا اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَۚ WaateeAAoo Allaha warrasoolalaAAallakum turhamoon And obey God and the Messenger, that you might obtain mercy. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-132.md_ ## Verse 133 وَسَارِعُٓوا اِلٰى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمٰوَاتُ وَالْاَرْضُۙ اُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّق۪ينَۙ WasariAAoo ila maghfiratinmin rabbikum wajannatin AAarduha assamawatuwal-ardu oAAiddat lilmuttaqeen And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and a garden as wide as the heavens and the earth prepared for those of prudent fear: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-133.md_ ## Verse 134 اَلَّذ۪ينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّٓاءِ وَالضَّرَّٓاءِ وَالْكَاظِم۪ينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَاف۪ينَ عَنِ النَّاسِۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِن۪ينَۚ Allatheena yunfiqoona fee assarra-iwaddarra-i walkathimeenaalghaytha walAAafeena AAani annasiwallahu yuhibbu almuhsineen Those who spend in prosperity and in adversity, and who control their wrath, and forgive men; and God loves the doers of good; _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-134.md_ ## Verse 135 وَالَّذ۪ينَ اِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً اَوْ ظَلَمُٓوا اَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْۖ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُۖ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلٰى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ Wallatheena ithafaAAaloo fahishatan aw thalamoo anfusahum thakarooAllaha fastaghfaroo lithunoobihim wamanyaghfiru aththunooba illa Allahuwalam yusirroo AAala ma faAAaloo wahumyaAAlamoon And those who, when they commit sexual immorality or wrong their souls, remember God, and ask forgiveness for their transgressions — and who forgives transgressions save God? — and persist not in what they did when they know. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-135.md_ ## Verse 136 اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ جَزَٓاؤُ۬هُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَاۜ وَنِعْمَ اَجْرُ الْعَامِل۪ينَۜ Ola-ika jazaohum maghfiratunmin rabbihim wajannatun tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha waniAAma ajrualAAamileen Those: their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein; and excellent is the reward of those who act. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-136.md_ ## Verse 137 قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌۙ فَس۪يرُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّب۪ينَ Qad khalat min qablikum sunanun faseeroofee al-ardi fanthuroo kayfa kanaAAaqibatu almukaththibeen Practices have passed away before you; so travel in the earth and see how was the final outcome of the deniers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-137.md_ ## Verse 138 هٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِلْمُتَّق۪ينَ Hatha bayanun linnasiwahudan wamawAAithatun lilmuttaqeen This is a clear statement for mankind; and guidance; and an admonition for those of prudent fear. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-138.md_ ## Verse 139 وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَاَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِن۪ينَ Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoowaantumu al-aAAlawna in kuntum mu/mineen And faint not, nor grieve, and you will be the superior ones, if you be believers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-139.md_ ## Verse 140 اِنْ يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِثْلُهُۜ وَتِلْكَ الْاَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِۚ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَٓاءَۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِم۪ينَۙ In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massaalqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka al-ayyamu nudawiluhabayna annasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheenaamanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa wallahula yuhibbu aththalimeen If injury touches you: there has touched people an injury the like thereof. And those are the days We alternate among men, both that God might know those who heed warning, and take witnesses among you — and God loves not the wrongdoers — _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-140.md_ ## Verse 141 وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ Waliyumahhisa Allahuallatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireen And that God might refine those who heed warning, and eliminate the false claimers of guidance. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-141.md_ ## Verse 142 اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِر۪ينَ Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoominkum wayaAAlama assabireen Or did you think that you will enter the Garden before God knows those who strive among you or knows the patient? _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-142.md_ ## Verse 143 وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَلْقَوْهُۖ فَقَدْ رَاَيْتُمُوهُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ۟ Walaqad kuntum tamannawna almawta min qablian talqawhu faqad raaytumoohu waantum tanthuroon And you had wished for death before you met it; and now you have seen it with your own eyes[...]. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-143.md_ ## Verse 144 وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُولٌۚ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُۜ اَفَا۬ئِنْ مَاتَ اَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْۜ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَسَيَجْزِي اللّٰهُ الشَّاكِر۪ينَ Wama muhammadun illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi arrusulu afa-in mataaw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum wamanyanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allahashay-an wasayajzee Allahu ashshakireen And Muḥammad is only a messenger; messengers have passed away before him. If then he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels does no harm to God at all; and God will reward the grateful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-144.md_ ## Verse 145 وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ اَنْ تَمُوتَ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ كِتَاباً مُؤَجَّلاًۜ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِه۪ مِنْهَاۚ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْاٰخِرَةِ نُؤْتِه۪ مِنْهَاۜ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِر۪ينَ Wama kana linafsin an tamootailla bi-ithni Allahi kitabanmu-ajjalan waman yurid thawaba addunyanu/tihi minha waman yurid thawaba al-akhiratinu/tihi minha wasanajzee ashshakireen And it is not for a soul to die, save by the leave of God, at a writ determined. And whoso desires the reward of the World, We give him thereof; and whoso desires the reward of the Hereafter, We give him thereof; and We reward the grateful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-145.md_ ## Verse 146 وَكَاَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَۙ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَث۪يرٌۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَٓا اَصَابَهُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِر۪ينَ Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo wallahu yuhibbu assabireen And alongside how many a prophet have fought many stoutly devout men! And they fainted not at what befell them in the cause of God; neither did they weaken, nor did they yield. And God loves the patient. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-146.md_ ## Verse 147 وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ اِلَّٓا اَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَاِسْرَافَنَا ف۪ٓي اَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِر۪ينَ Wama kana qawlahum illaan qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobanawa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamanawansurna AAala alqawmi alkafireen And their word was only that they said: “Our Lord: forgive Thou us our transgressions, and our excess in our affair, and make Thou firm our feet; and help Thou us against the people of the false claimers of guidance.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-147.md_ ## Verse 148 فَاٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْاٰخِرَةِۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِن۪ينَ۟ Faatahumu Allahu thawabaaddunya wahusna thawabi al-akhiratiwallahu yuhibbu almuhsineen So God gave them the reward of the World and the good reward of the Hereafter; and God loves the doers of good. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-148.md_ ## Verse 149 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِنْ تُط۪يعُوا الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِر۪ينَ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin tuteeAAoo allatheena kafaroo yaruddookum AAalaaAAqabikum fatanqaliboo khasireen O you who heed warning: if you obey those who ignore warning, they will drive you back on your heels; and you will turn back as losers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-149.md_ ## Verse 150 بَلِ اللّٰهُ مَوْلٰيكُمْۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاصِر۪ينَ Bali Allahu mawlakum wahuwakhayru annasireen The truth is, God is your protector; and He is the best of helpers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-150.md_ ## Verse 151 سَنُلْق۪ي ف۪ي قُلُوبِ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَٓا اَشْرَكُوا بِاللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِه۪ سُلْطَاناًۚ وَمَأْوٰيهُمُ النَّارُۜ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِم۪ينَ Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheenakafaroo arruAAba bima ashrakoo billahima lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wama/wahumu annaruwabi/sa mathwa aththalimeen We will cast into the hearts of those who ignore warning terror because they have ascribed a partnership with God to that for which He sent not down authority; and their shelter is the Fire; and evil is the dwelling of the wrongdoers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-151.md_ ## Verse 152 وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهُٓ اِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِاِذْنِه۪ۚ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْاَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَٓا اَرٰيكُمْ مَا تُحِبُّونَۜ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُر۪يدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُر۪يدُ الْاٰخِرَةَۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوفَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ Walaqad sadaqakumu AllahuwaAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hattaitha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytummin baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboonaminkum man yureedu addunya waminkum man yureedual-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakumwalaqad AAafa AAankum wallahu thoofadlin AAala almu/mineen And God was indeed true in His promise to you. When you were aware of them by His leave, when you had lost heart and disputed concerning the affair, and rebelled after He had shown you what you love[...]. Among you is he who desires the World; and among you is he who desires the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them that He might try you; and He has pardoned you; and God is bountiful to the believers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-152.md_ ## Verse 153 اِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُ۫نَ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ ف۪ٓي اُخْرٰيكُمْ فَاَثَابَكُمْ غَماًّ بِغَمٍّ لِكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَٓا اَصَابَكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ خَب۪يرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ Ith tusAAidoona walatalwoona AAala ahadin warrasooluyadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghammanbighammin likay la tahzanoo AAala mafatakum wala ma asabakum wallahukhabeerun bima taAAmaloon When you were ascending, and paying no heed to anyone, and the Messenger calling you from your rear, so He requited you with grief upon grief, that you might not grieve for what eluded you or what befell you; and God is aware of what you do. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-153.md_ ## Verse 154 ثُمَّ اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ اَمَنَةً نُعَاساً يَغْشٰى طَٓائِفَةً مِنْكُمْۙ وَطَٓائِفَةٌ قَدْ اَهَمَّتْهُمْ اَنْفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللّٰهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِۜ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ لَنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۜ قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلّٰهِۜ يُخْفُونَ ف۪ٓي اَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَۜ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَا قُتِلْنَا هٰهُنَاۜ قُلْ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ ف۪ي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذ۪ينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ اِلٰى مَضَاجِعِهِمْۚ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللّٰهُ مَا ف۪ي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا ف۪ي قُلُوبِكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ Thumma anzala AAalaykum min baAAdi alghammiamanatan nuAAasan yaghsha ta-ifatan minkumwata-ifatun qad ahammat-hum anfusuhum yathunnoonabillahi ghayra alhaqqi thannaaljahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lana mina al-amri minshay-in qul inna al-amra kullahu lillahi yukhfoona feeanfusihim ma la yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kanalana mina al-amri shay-on ma qutilna hahunaqul law kuntum fee buyootikum labaraza allatheena kutibaAAalayhimu alqatlu ila madajiAAihim waliyabtaliyaAllahu ma fee sudoorikum waliyumahhisama fee quloobikum wallahu AAaleemun bithatiassudoor Then He sent down upon you, after distress, security, slumber overcoming a number of you; and a number had grieved themselves thinking about God other than the truth — the thought of ignorance — saying: “Have we any part in the affair?” Say thou: “The affair belongs entirely to God.” They hide within themselves what they reveal not to thee, saying: “Had we any part in the affair, we would not have been slain here.” Say thou: “Had you been in your houses, those for whom killing was decreed would have gone forth to their resting places”; and: “That God might try what is in your breasts”; and: “That He might refine what is in your hearts.” And God knows what is in the breasts. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-154.md_ ## Verse 155 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِۙ اِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ حَل۪يمٌ۟ Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumuashshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleem Those who turned back among you the day the two hosts met: the satan caused them to slip only for some of what they earned. But God has pardoned them; God is forgiving and clement. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-155.md_ ## Verse 156 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَقَالُوا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ اِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ اَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَوْ كَانُوا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُواۚ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحْـي۪ وَيُم۪يتُۜ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَص۪يرٌ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim wallahu yuhyeewayumeetu wallahu bima taAAmaloona baseer O you who heed warning: be not like those who ignore warning, and say of their brothers when they travel in the earth or are on an expedition: “Had they been with us, they would not have died or been killed,” that God might make that a sorrow in their hearts; for God gives life, and gives death; and God sees what you do. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-156.md_ ## Verse 157 وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ Wala-in qutiltum fee sabeeli Allahiaw muttum lamaghfiratun mina Allahi warahmatunkhayrun mimma yajmaAAoon And if you are killed or die in the cause of God, pardon from God and mercy are better than what they amass. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-157.md_ ## Verse 158 وَلَئِنْ مُتُّمْ اَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُحْشَرُونَ Wala-in muttum aw qutiltum la-ilaAllahi tuhsharoon And if you die or are killed, to God will you be gathered. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-158.md_ ## Verse 159 فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْۚ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَل۪يظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْاَمْرِۚ فَاِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّل۪ينَ Fabima rahmatin mina Allahilinta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleethaalqalbi lanfaddoo min hawlika faAAfuAAanhum wastaghfir lahum washawirhum fee al-amrifa-itha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahiinna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileen And because of the mercy of God, thou wast lenient with them; and hadst thou been coarse and stern, they would have disbanded from about thee. So pardon thou them, and ask thou forgiveness for them, and take thou counsel with them in the affair. And when thou hast made a decision, place thou thy trust in God; God loves those who would place their trust aright. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-159.md_ ## Verse 160 اِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْۚ وَاِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذ۪ي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ۜ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ In yansurkumu Allahu falaghaliba lakum wa-in yakhthulkum faman thaallathee yansurukum min baAAdihi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoon If God helps you, none can defeat you; but if He forsakes you, who is there who can help you after Him? And in God let the believers place their trust. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-160.md_ ## Verse 161 وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ اَنْ يَغُلَّۜ وَمَنْ يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفّٰى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ Wama kana linabiyyin anyaghulla waman yaghlul ya/ti bima ghalla yawma alqiyamatithumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum layuthlamoon And it is not for a prophet that he should coerce. And whoso coerces will come with what he coerced on the Day of Resurrection; then will every soul be paid in full what it earned, and they will not be wronged. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-161.md_ ## Verse 162 اَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللّٰهِ كَمَنْ بَٓاءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَمَأْوٰيهُ جَهَنَّمُۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمَص۪يرُ Afamani ittabaAAa ridwana Allahikaman baa bisakhatin mina Allahi wama/wahujahannamu wabi/sa almaseer Is then he who seeks the approval of God like one who incurs wrath from God, and whose shelter is Gehenna? And evil is the journey’s end. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-162.md_ ## Verse 163 هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ بَص۪يرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ۟ Hum darajatun AAinda Allahiwallahu baseerun bima yaAAmaloon They have degrees in the sight of God; and God sees what they do. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-163.md_ ## Verse 164 لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ اِذْ بَعَثَ ف۪يهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ وَيُزَكّ۪يهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَۚ وَاِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba walhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeen God indeed showed favour to the believers when He raised up among them a messenger among themselves, reciting to them His proofs, and increasing them in purity, and teaching them the Writ and wisdom — though they were before in manifest error. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-164.md_ ## Verse 165 اَوَلَمَّٓا اَصَابَتْكُمْ مُص۪يبَةٌ قَدْ اَصَبْتُمْ مِثْلَيْهَاۙ قُلْتُمْ اَنّٰى هٰذَاۜ قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اَنْفُسِكُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ Awa lamma asabatkum museebatunqad asabtum mithlayha qultum anna hathaqul huwa min AAindi anfusikum inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeer Do you not say, when calamity has befallen you — you having caused the double thereof: — “Whence is this?” Say thou: “It is from yourselves; God is over all things powerful.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-165.md_ ## Verse 166 وَمَٓا اَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَۙ Wama asabakum yawma iltaqaaljamAAani fabi-ithni Allahi waliyaAAlamaalmu/mineen And what befell you the day the two hosts met was by the leave of God, that He might know the believers, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-166.md_ ## Verse 167 وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذ۪ينَ نَافَقُواۚ وَق۪يلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوا ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ اَوِ ادْفَعُواۜ قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالاً لَاتَّبَعْنَاكُمْۜ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ اَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْا۪يمَانِۚ يَقُولُونَ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ مَا لَيْسَ ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَۚ WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoowaqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahiawi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan lattabaAAnakumhum lilkufri yawma-ithin aqrabu minhum lil-eemaniyaqooloona bi-afwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim wallahuaAAlamu bima yaktumoon And that He might know the waverers. And it was said to them: “Come, fight in the cause of God; or repel.” They said: “Had we known of fighting, we would have followed you.” They were nearer to denial that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts; and God is most aware of what conceal _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-167.md_ ## Verse 168 اَلَّذ۪ينَ قَالُوا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا لَوْ اَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُواۜ قُلْ فَادْرَؤُ۫ا عَنْ اَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِق۪ينَ Allatheena qaloo li-ikhwanihimwaqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul fadraooAAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeen Those who said of their brothers when they stayed back: “Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed.” Say thou: “Then avert from yourselves death, if you be truthful.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-168.md_ ## Verse 169 وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ قُتِلُوا ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ اَمْوَاتاًۜ بَلْ اَحْيَٓاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَۙ Wala tahsabanna allatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaonAAinda rabbihim yurzaqoon And think not of those who are killed in the cause of God as dead; nay, they are alive, with their Lord receiving provision, _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-169.md_ ## Verse 170 فَرِح۪ينَ بِمَٓا اٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ۙ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذ۪ينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْۙ اَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَۢ Fariheena bima atahumuAllahu min fadlihi wayastabshiroona billatheenalam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim alla khawfunAAalayhim wala hum yahzanoon Exulting in what God has bestowed upon them of His bounty; and rejoicing in those behind them who are yet to join them, that no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve; _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-170.md_ ## Verse 171 يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضْلٍۙ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُض۪يعُ اَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَۚۛ ۟ Yastabshiroona biniAAmatin mina Allahiwafadlin waanna Allaha la yudeeAAuajra almu/mineen Rejoicing in favour and bounty from God, and that God causes not to be lost the reward of the believers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-171.md_ ## Verse 172 اَلَّذ۪ينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلّٰهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَٓا اَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُۜۛ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اَحْسَنُوا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقَوْا اَجْرٌ عَظ۪يمٌۚ Allatheena istajaboo lillahiwarrasooli min baAAdi ma asabahumu alqarhulillatheena ahsanoo minhum wattaqaw ajrunAAatheem Those who responded to God and the Messenger after injury had befallen them — for those of them as do good and are in prudent fear is a great reward — _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-172.md_ ## Verse 173 اَلَّذ۪ينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ اِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ ا۪يمَاناًۗ وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَك۪يلُ Allatheena qala lahumu annasuinna annasa qad jamaAAoo lakum fakhshawhumfazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbunaAllahu waniAAma alwakeel Those to whom men said: “The people have gathered against you, so be afraid of them,” but it increased them in faith, and they said: “Sufficient for us is God” — and excellent is the disposer of affairs — _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-173.md_ ## Verse 174 فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُٓوءٌۙ وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوفَضْلٍ عَظ۪يمٍ Fanqalaboo biniAAmatin mina Allahiwafadlin lam yamsas-hum soo-on wattabaAAoo ridwanaAllahi wallahu thoo fadlinAAatheem So they returned with favour and bounty from God, evil not touching them. And they sought the approval of God; and God is possessor of tremendous bounty. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-174.md_ ## Verse 175 اِنَّمَا ذٰلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ اَوْلِيَٓاءَهُۖ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِن۪ينَ Innama thalikumu ashshaytanuyukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooniin kuntum mu/mineen That is but the satan putting his allies in dread of it; but fear them not; and fear Me, if you be believers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-175.md_ ## Verse 176 وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذ۪ينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِۚ اِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۜ يُر۪يدُ اللّٰهُ اَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الْاٰخِرَةِۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظ۪يمٌ Wala yahzunka allatheenayusariAAoona fee alkufri innahum lan yadurroo Allahashay-an yureedu Allahu alla yajAAala lahum haththanfee al-akhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheem And let not grieve thee those who compete in denial; they will never harm God at all. God desires not to make for them a portion in the Hereafter; and they have a great punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-176.md_ ## Verse 177 اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْكُفْرَ بِالْا۪يمَانِ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufrabil-eemani lan yadurroo Allahashay-an walahum AAathabun aleem Those who buy denial at the price of faith, they will never harm God at all; and they have a painful punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-177.md_ ## Verse 178 وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اَنَّمَا نُمْل۪ي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِاَنْفُسِهِمْۜ اِنَّمَا نُمْل۪ي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُٓوا اِثْماًۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُه۪ينٌ Wala yahsabanna allatheenakafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun li-anfusihim innamanumlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabunmuheen And let not those who ignore warning think that We but grant them respite good for their souls; We but grant them respite that they might increase in sin; and they have a humiliating punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-178.md_ ## Verse 179 مَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ عَلٰى مَٓا اَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتّٰى يَم۪يزَ الْخَب۪يثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِۜ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَجْتَب۪ي مِنْ رُسُلِه۪ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُ فَاٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِه۪ۚ وَاِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ اَجْرٌ عَظ۪يمٌ Ma kana Allahu liyatharaalmu/mineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hattayameeza alkhabeetha mina attayyibi wama kanaAllahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinnaAllaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoobillahi warusulihi wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoofalakum ajrun AAatheem God will not leave the believers in that which you are in until He distinguishes the bad from the good. And God will not apprise you of the Unseen; but God chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in God and His messengers; and if you believe and are in prudent fear, for you is a great reward. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-179.md_ ## Verse 180 وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَٓا اٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ هُوَ خَيْراً لَهُمْۜ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَهُمْۜ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِه۪ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ وَلِلّٰهِ م۪يرَاثُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَب۪يرٌ۟ Wala yahsabanna allatheenayabkhaloona bima atahummu Allahu minfadlihi huwa khayran lahum bal huwa sharrun lahum sayutawwaqoonama bakhiloo bihi yawma alqiyamati walillahimeerathu assamawati wal-ardiwallahu bima taAAmaloona khabeer And let not those who are miserly with what God gives them of His bounty think it good for them; the truth is, it is evil for them: hung about their necks will be that with which they were miserly on the Day of Resurrection; and to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth; and God is aware of what you do. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-180.md_ ## Verse 181 لَقَدْ سَمِـعَ اللّٰهُ قَوْلَ الَّذ۪ينَ قَالُٓوا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ فَق۪يرٌ وَنَحْنُ اَغْنِيَٓاءُۢ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الْاَنْبِيَٓاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۙ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَر۪يقِ Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheenaqaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaonsanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu al-anbiyaabighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathabaalhareeq God has heard the saying of those who say: “God is poor, and we are rich.” We will record what they say, and their killing of the prophets without cause; (and We will say: “Taste the punishment of the consuming fire _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-181.md_ ## Verse 182 ذٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَيْد۪يكُمْ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَب۪يدِۚ Thalika bima qaddamataydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallaminlilAAabeed For it is that your hands sent ahead, and that God is not unjust to the servants!”) _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-182.md_ ## Verse 183 اَلَّذ۪ينَ قَالُٓوا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَهِدَ اِلَيْنَٓا اَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُۜ قُلْ قَدْ جَٓاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْل۪ي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذ۪ي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِق۪ينَ Allatheena qaloo inna AllahaAAahida ilayna alla nu/mina lirasoolin hattaya/tiyana biqurbanin ta/kuluhu annaruqul qad jaakum rusulun min qablee bilbayyinatiwabillathee qultum falima qataltumoohum in kutum sadiqeen Those who said: “God has made a covenant with us, that we believe not any messenger until he brings us an offering consumed by fire.” Say thou: “There came to you messengers before me with clear signs, and with what you say; why then did you kill them, if you be truthful?” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-183.md_ ## Verse 184 فَاِنْ كَذَّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ جَٓاؤُ۫ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُن۪يرِ Fa-in kaththabooka faqad kuththibarusulun min qablika jaoo bilbayyinati wazzuburiwalkitabi almuneer And if they deny thee, then denied were the messengers who were before thee, who came with the clear signs, and the writings, and the Illuminating Writ. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-184.md_ ## Verse 185 كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَٓائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِۜ وَاِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ اُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَاُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَۜ وَمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَٓا اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawtiwa-innama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamatifaman zuhziha AAani annari waodkhilaaljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu addunyailla mataAAu alghuroor Every soul will taste death; and you will but be paid in full your rewards on the Day of Resurrection. And whoso is removed from the Fire and made to enter the Garden: he has attained; and the life of this world is only the enjoyment of delusion. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-185.md_ ## Verse 186 لَتُبْلَوُنَّ ف۪ٓي اَمْوَالِكُمْ وَاَنْفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اَشْرَكُٓوا اَذًى كَث۪يراًۜ وَاِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَاِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْاُمُورِ Latublawunna fee amwalikumwaanfusikum walatasmaAAunna mina allatheena ootoo alkitabamin qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athankatheeran wa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo fa-inna thalikamin AAazmi al-omoor You will be tried in your wealth and in yourselves. And you will hear from those given the Writ before you, and from the idolaters, much hindrance. But if you are patient and in prudent fear: that is among the resolution of affairs. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-186.md_ ## Verse 187 وَاِذْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ م۪يثَاقَ الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُۘ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَٓاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِه۪ ثَمَناً قَل۪يلاًۜ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa allatheena ootoo alkitabalatubayyinunnahu linnasi wala taktumoonahufanabathoohu waraa thuhoorihim washtarawbihi thamanan qaleelan fabi/sa ma yashtaroon And when God took an agreement of those given the Writ: “You are to make it plain to mankind, and not to conceal it,” then they cast it behind their backs, and sold it at a cheap price; and evil is what they bought. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-187.md_ ## Verse 188 لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَٓا اَتَوْا وَيُحِبُّونَ اَنْ يُحْمَدُوا بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِنَ الْعَذَابِۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ La tahsabanna allatheenayafrahoona bima ataw wayuhibboona an yuhmadoobima lam yafAAaloo fala tahsabannahum bimafazatinmina alAAathabi walahum AAathabun aleem Think not those who exult at what they have accomplished, and love to be praised for what they have not done[...]. And think them not in a place of safety from the punishment; and they have a painful punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-188.md_ ## Verse 189 وَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ۟ Walillahi mulku assamawatiwal-ardi wallahu AAala kullishay-in qadeer And to God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and God is over all things powerful. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-189.md_ ## Verse 190 اِنَّ ف۪ي خَلْقِ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِاُو۬لِي الْاَلْبَابِۚ Inna fee khalqi assamawatiwal-ardi wakhtilafi allayli wannaharilaayatin li-olee al-albab In the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day are proofs for men of understanding: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-190.md_ ## Verse 191 اَلَّذ۪ينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّٰهَ قِيَاماً وَقُعُوداً وَعَلٰى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ ف۪ي خَلْقِ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هٰذَا بَاطِلاًۚ سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ Allatheena yathkuroona Allahaqiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihimwayatafakkaroona fee khalqi assamawati wal-ardirabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanakafaqina AAathaba annar Those who remember God, standing and sitting and on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: “Our Lord: Thou createdst not this to no purpose. Glory be to Thee! And protect Thou us from the punishment of the Fire! _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-191.md_ ## Verse 192 رَبَّنَٓا اِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ اَخْزَيْتَهُۜ وَمَا لِلظَّالِم۪ينَ مِنْ اَنْصَارٍ Rabbana innaka man tudkhili annarafaqad akhzaytahu wama liththalimeenamin ansar “Our Lord: whom Thou causest to enter the Fire: him hast Thou disgraced”; and there are for the wrongdoers no helpers. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-192.md_ ## Verse 193 رَبَّنَٓا اِنَّـنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِياً يُنَاد۪ي لِلْا۪يمَانِ اَنْ اٰمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاٰمَنَّاۗ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّـنَا مَعَ الْاَبْرَارِۚ Rabbana innana samiAAnamunadiyan yunadee lil-eemani an aminoobirabbikum faamanna rabbana faghfirlana thunoobana wakaffir AAannasayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrar “Our Lord: we have heard a caller calling to faith: ‘Believe in your Lord!’ And we have believed. Our Lord: forgive Thou us our transgressions, and remove Thou from us our evil deeds; and take Thou us with the virtuous. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-193.md_ ## Verse 194 رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلٰى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْم۪يعَادَ Rabbana waatina mawaAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzinayawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAad “Our Lord: give Thou us what Thou hast promised us by Thy messengers, and disgrace Thou us not on the Day of Resurrection; Thou wilt not break the appointment.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-194.md_ ## Verse 195 فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ اَنّ۪ي لَٓا اُض۪يعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ اَوْ اُنْثٰىۚ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍۚ فَالَّذ۪ينَ هَاجَرُوا وَاُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَاُو۫ذُوا ف۪ي سَب۪يل۪ي وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَاُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُۚ ثَوَاباً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ Fastajaba lahum rabbuhumannee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum minthakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdinfallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihimwaoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloolaokaffiranna AAanhum sayyi-atihim walaodkhilannahum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu thawabanmin AAindi Allahi wallahu AAindahu husnuaththawab And their Lord responded to them: “I cause not to be lost the work of any that works among you, male or female; you are of one another.” And those who emigrated and were turned out of their homes, and were hindered in My cause, and fought and were killed: I will remove from them their evil deeds, and I will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, as a reward from God; and God, with Him is the best of rewards. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-195.md_ ## Verse 196 لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا فِي الْبِلَادِۜ La yaghurrannaka taqallubu allatheenakafaroo fee albilad Let not delude thee the going to and fro of those who ignore warning in the land: _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-196.md_ ## Verse 197 مَتَاعٌ قَل۪يلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوٰيهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ MataAAun qaleelun thumma ma/wahumjahannamu wabi/sa almihad A little enjoyment, then is their shelter Gehenna; and evil is the resting-place. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-197.md_ ## Verse 198 لٰكِنِ الَّذ۪ينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَا نُزُلاً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۜ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ لِلْاَبْرَارِ Lakini allatheena ittaqawrabbahum lahum jannatun tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha nuzulan minAAindi Allahi wama AAinda Allahi khayrunlil-abrar But those who are in prudent fear of their Lord: they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein, as a welcome from God; and what is with God is better for the virtuous. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-198.md_ ## Verse 199 وَاِنَّ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكُمْ وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِع۪ينَ لِلّٰهِۙ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِاٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ ثَمَناً قَل۪يلاًۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَر۪يعُ الْحِسَابِ Wa-inna min ahli alkitabi lamanyu/minu billahi wama onzila ilaykum wamaonzila ilayhim khashiAAeena lillahi layashtaroona bi-ayati Allahi thamananqaleelan ola-ika lahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim inna AllahasareeAAu alhisab And among the doctors of the Law are those who believe in God and what was sent down to you, and what was sent down to them: — humble towards God, they sell not the proofs of God at a cheap price — those have their reward with their Lord; God is swift in reckoning. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-199.md_ ## Verse 200 يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooisbiroo wasabiroo warabitoo wattaqooAllaha laAAallakum tuflihoon O you who heed warning: be patient; and vie in patience; and be steadfast; and be in prudent fear of God, that you might succeed. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-200.md_ --- Retrieved: 2026-08-23 Quran.so — https://quran.so — CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 — When quoting, name the translator.
