Surah Al-Qasas (The Stories) — سورة القصص - **Verse:** 84 / 88 · **Juz:** 20 · **Mushaf page:** 394 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-qasas/verse-84 ## Arabic مَنْ جَٓاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ خَيْرٌ مِنْهَاۚ وَمَنْ جَٓاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَى الَّذ۪ينَ عَمِلُوا السَّيِّـَٔاتِ اِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ## Transcription Man jaa bilhasanatifalahu khayrun minha waman jaa bissayyi-atifala yujza allatheena AAamiloo assayyi-atiilla ma kanoo yaAAmaloon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Anyone who does a good action will get something better. As for anyone who does a bad action, those who have done bad actions will only be repaid for what they did. ### Progressive Muslims Whoever brings forth a good deed, he will receive a better reward than it. And whoever brings forth a sin then the retribution for their sins will be to the extent of their deeds. ### Shabbir Ahmed Anyone who brings actions that benefited others, the reward to him is better than what he has done.
