Surah Al-Qasas (The Stories) — سورة القصص - **Verse:** 41 / 88 · **Juz:** 20 · **Mushaf page:** 389 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-qasas/verse-41 ## Arabic وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ اَئِمَّةً يَدْعُونَ اِلَى النَّارِۚ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ ## Transcription WajaAAalnahum a-immatan yadAAoona ilaannari wayawma alqiyamati la yunsaroon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley We made them leaders, summoning to the Fire, and on the Day of Rising they will not be helped. ### Progressive Muslims We made them role models for inviting to the Fire. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will not be supported. ### Shabbir Ahmed And We made them leaders, a pattern, of those who take people to the Fire, and no help shall they find on the Resurrection Day. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation And We appointed them leaders, inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation We made them leaders, inviting to the Fire. They showed these ways to the people and have gone to Hell, and now their descendants are following in their footsteps and rushing towards the same doom. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab And We justly incited them to compete for superiority in iniquities and be the leaders thereof, an attribute that led them and those who fell in line with them directly to Hell and no help whatever shall they receive in Day of Judgement. ### Bijan Moeinian They have set a precedent for injustice so that whoever walks on their path goes to Hell.
