Then when Moses had completed the term and was travelling with his family, he perceived from the side of the mount a fire. He said to his family: “Wait here; I have perceived a fire. I might bring you news from it, or a firebrand from the fire, that you might warm yourselves.”

فَلَمَّا قَضٰى مُوسَى الْاَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِاَهْلِه۪ٓ اٰنَسَ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّورِ نَاراًۚ قَالَ لِاَهْلِهِ امْكُثُٓوا اِنّ۪ٓي اٰنَسْتُ نَاراً لَعَلّ۪ٓي اٰت۪يكُمْ مِنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ اَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ
Falamma qada moosaal-ajala wasara bi-ahlihi anasa min janibi attoorinaran qala li-ahlihi omkuthoo innee anastu naranlaAAallee ateekum minha bikhabarin aw jathwatinmina annari laAAallakum tastaloon
