And when it is said to them: “Come, the messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you,” they turn aside their heads; and thou seest them turning away, waxing proud.

When they are told, ‘Come, and the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,’ they turn their heads and you see them turn away in haughty arrogance.
And if they are told: "Come and let the messenger of God ask for your forgiveness, " they turn aside their heads, and you see them walking away in pride.
And when it is said to them, "Come! Allah's Messenger will ask for your forgiveness", they shake their heads, and you see them pause, and then draw back in false pride.
And when it is said to them: “Come, the messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you,” they turn aside their heads; and thou seest them turning away, waxing proud.
And if they are told: "Come and let the messenger of God ask for your forgiveness," they turn aside their heads, and you see them walking away in pride.

And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.
for, when they are told, "Come, the Apostle of God will pray that you be forgiven", they turn their heads away, and thou canst see how they draw back in their false pride.
And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful.
When it is said to them: "Come, Allah's Messenger will seek forgiveness for you," they (contemptuously) shake their heads and you see them holding back in pride.*
When they -the hypocrites- are told to come back to the Messenger to invoke, on their behalf Allah's mercy and forgiveness, they turn their heads in contempt and you see them objecting with inordinate self- esteem.
When people advise them to ask the messenger of God to beg God’s forgiveness for them, they make cutting remarks which indicate their false pride.
And when it is said to them: "Come, so that the Messenger of Allâh may ask forgiveness from Allâh for you," they twist their heads, and you would see them turning away their faces in pride.
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.
When it is said to them, "Come! The Messenger of Allah will pray for you to be forgiven," they turn their heads ˹in disgust˺, and you see them ˹O Prophet˺ turn away in arrogance.
And when it is said to them, "Come on, so that Allah’s Messenger may pray for your forgiveness", they twist their heads (in aversion), and you see them turning away in arrogance.
They turn their heads away in disdain when they are told, ‘Come, so that the Messenger of God may ask forgiveness for you,’ and you see them walking away arrogantly.

And when it is said to them, `Come so that the Messenger of Allâh may ask forgiveness for you,' they turn their heads aside (by way of refusal and out of scorn and pride). And you see them keeping others (also) back, while they swell big with pride.
When they are told, ‘Come, that Allah’s Apostle may plead for forgiveness for you,’ they twist their heads, and you see them turn away while they are disdainful.
