So will you not use your intellect? ### Progressive Muslims And He is the One who gives life and brings death, and to Him is the alteration of the night and the day. Do you not comprehend ### Shabbir Ahmed And He it is Who gives life and death and to Him is due the alternation of Night and Day. Will you not, then, use your sense? There must be its Creator who need not have any associates or partners and that the universe could not have been created without a purpose as a mere sport. The very existence of a wonderful, rational thinking and feeling creature, man, who has been delegated with powers, is a clear proof that his real life will not come to an end at death. - [2] Here attention is being drawn to the proof of both Tauhid and life after death, and in the other phenomena cited to the refutation of both shirk and rejection of the Hereafter. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab And it is He who gives life and causes animate existence and it is He Who occasions the moment of death and deprives of animate existence. And to Him is related the natural phenomenon of the variations in duration and the constant alternation and succession symbolic of the night and the day and their contingent physical phenomena.
